tl;dr
I'm getting chan speed of -chan gear and dmg /crit of my r999... yea... mmmhmmm...
personally i think thats prettty damn amazing, but so far no1 i talked to thought it would b useful/worth the trouble (LOLRUALLINSANE?!?!)

Here is the video, you can compare chan speeds of BT/MS in first few clips, pretty sure I got full dmg on all ultis but I didn't watch in that great detail, also I'm sharded w/ Savants (swapping Ice Bourne if I play enough). 2nd half of video should be titled how to die with style b:cool p.s. I do not condone nor condemn the use of Ice Prison.

The rest of this is going to just be me typing a lot, its mainly going to be me typing because I feel like it, other parts may actually be useful for ppl who are interested/newly interested in utilizing chan build. Big wall of text.

Q: Overall chan build has less dmg crit atk lvl def lvl magic pdef mdef and basically fking everything other then chan. So Why Chan Build?

A: Because butterflies you armadillo lover!! I got bored of playing archer because I had basically "maxed out" in terms of what I could do on the class. Any improvements I made in game play would be marginal and the differences b/w a "pro" vs "mediocre" archer seemed very small at best (though they do exist). At the time that I swapped to wizard there was no purify proc, poor genie management was much more detrimentall, and I was playing a r8r armor + r9 wep char, the insane damage granted by spark allowed me to compete w/ full r9 +10 and even certain +10 JOSD classes (I was out of league of the few "end game characters" at the time) while requiring me to ACTUALLY do something, it was fun.

Not to mention that I could use less chi for combos, gain more chi due to cast speed, and make better use of the more tempermental wizard skills to actually control the fight, while constantly presenting a threat, and dying in the most glorious of fashions.

Fast forward and now days wizard is arguably one of the "easier" classes to be able to use (well I guess they all are). That said I'm obviously not that great at gear swapping (this video was literally the first time I tried putting this build into use in a TW setting). But for me, I now have something to improve upon that is of interest in PWI, too bad Ive basically quit, asides from the occasional TW. (As I'm sure many players have/will/are doing). That said this is for anyone who is looking for something to do/is interested enough have fun w/ it.

Q: If it's so amazing why are you telling us this?

Despite "forum ghost/quitting" status I will hopefully be twing more/recording (new place in 2 weeks better internet) so you'd see it anyways. Additionally I actually enjoy seeing ppl who want to improve, improve, and I want to see how far ppl can take this. Special thanks to Kyougu for telling me about gear swapping effect on chan.

Q: uhm.... WTF Video?

A: Yea okay ****.
1) I always ** up editing videos IDK why the screen is so damn small and everytime I try to edit quality goes down, I give up. Srsly ill fking pay ppl to make videos for me, I hate doing this =.=

2) most of the TW was like 5:04 (im currently renting a place and not normal internet). or it was me messing up combos, i actually left alot of those in for lulz (4 used to be gush not d pyro, one of my IP DB's I wasn't wearing my r999 belt etc etc).

3)This Video was more to show an "effective" wziard chan build. one that does not sacrifice damage/survival (asides from the swap moment).

I believe that this style/play has MUCH more potential I just wasn't able to bring it out yet. I only died once due to chan gear swap, that said I'm basically using IG/immunity everytime, which is horribley inefficient, obviously need to practice to swap gears/skills quicker/in right situation. Also in my head I was mainly thinking "instantchan *******" as you can see from the # of fail ultis.

4) F2 Key? Skill bar?!

I have r999 belt/chan belt in that slot takes me to 91 %, which is actually too fast for me to swap skills on except ultis, given the lag I just took belt off. Skill bar is work in progress (6th or 7th setup? I made it 2 weeks ago, but I didnt really use until tonight, obviously need things like assist atk/ better location for certain skills..)

Are you talking about starting with a -chan belt and wrists and prior to your attack landing swapping to r9t3 for the attack level/magic boost?

I've tried that with a few other classes and maybe I'm wrong but the -channeling rate is dynamic, meaning if you have -50% channeling as it starts then swap to 0% -channeling while still channeling you can actually watch the channeling bar change speed and slow down. It doesn't continue channeling at the rate you started with. Right?

The other thing I've noticed on my bm as I swap from r9t3 (with +25 atk and +100str) to -int gears is it takes a few seconds for my speed to pick up and for my damage to drop without the set bonus. Maybe thats just display lag, but it'd make me wonder if you are actually getting the bonuses as you swap to r9t3. Lemme know your findings.

GF by the way. Had alot of fun, and you can tell you're obviously one of our top targets because you drop such bombs. I thought Vindi had a ton or archers but seeing it from the other side LG has just as many, lol >.<

I liked it. that was the first wizard video that reminded me of how I used to play

+10-11 wep, +5 flawless everything else, hovering at approx 30m in tw before the nerf, flanked out, chi'd up, ready to go. sage spark -> cloud eruption -> fall down like tom cruise in M.I -> zooming thunder -> bt -> kill 15 -> die within seconds of casting.

2nd vid is not sped up, its -91% chan so its .4 second chan BIDS xD on another note, and independent of channeling, pretty sure that if u get stunned/even killed after chan but before finishing cast, your spell will still pop out (it looks funny, mayb just grapics), I didn't test it but just from experience.

from my view LG TW strength is mainly archers w/ a few good bms/support.

You are correct, casting time is simply a delay after you use a skill where you cannot do anything else. Your skill is actually "used" immediately after channeling finishes (including all of the damage calculations) and then some skills delay the damage while the animation goes (i.e. pyrogram delays, gush is instant). This is why you can be killed through immune, if they finish channeling before you hit immune, the damage calculation is done.. the damage is already done, but it takes a second or two to reach you.

Been fighting alot of seekers recently, just cause. Wizard vs Seeker.

Still think demon fits my style better but w/ new expansion and possible sacrifice of emberstorm just gonna wait before deciding whether or not to swap again.
