the other day the game wouldnt open. the box where it says
"start" came up, but it said disconnected instead of all the pwi ads, so i uninstalled it, but when i re-installed it, it just told me to download the arc and it wont play the game either, i can hear it, but i cant see anything , no new window popped up or anything, please help

    Going to need more information.

    Based on what you've said, the only advice I can give is to ensure that you have completely excluded the client from your antivirus software; and to then verify the client files at least three times. Rebooting after you have done this is also a good thing.

    ive done that, when i click on "play" on the arc list for pwi, nothing comes up, but it still claims that its playing! and sometimes i can even hear the sound of it, but dont see anything, can anyone help me here? i dont wan tto stop playing pwi..

    Try running the 'Repair Arc' option from your Start menu -> All programs -> Perfect World Entertainment -> Arc & Don't make double posts.

    ive tried that, nothing happens, it says "repairing arc" and then the window disappears and it still doesnt work

    ok, when i open arc and sign in, the only thing i have on my list is pwi, i havent downloaded any other games, and when i click on "play" the icon on my bottom row pops up for a brief second, and then disappears and nothing happens, when i click on "play" again, it says " cannot launch the game again while its running, please exit the game and try again" it says that every time, and there is no game playing, it shows nothing, sometimes i hear the music of the game , but there is no window

    Yeah i know what is your issue ? I said provide more info or just Submit a Ticket. Do one of the following don't post the same thing all over again. Try reinstalling the game see if that helps ? That's what i could suggest in this situation since you are not providing anything.

    OP - follow the link in SylenThunder's post that explains what information he is looking for, or nobody can help you.

    Also, look in your system tray for a PWI logo icon, it might have been minimized to the system tray and thus still be running. If there is a PWI icon in the system tray, click on it to bring up the window.

    If all else fails, use task manager (which can be started from the Ctrl-Alt-Del menu on Vista or later) to kill all instances of elementclient, or just reboot (which will kill any running instances of the PW client.)

    i tried that, but i have one last question, when i download ARC, do i have to download pwi with it? because it says its already downloaded, but all i downloaded was ARC and i completely removed PWI from before, now its just the ARC, is there another part im missing here?

    I would say uninstall PWI all together... then download it from Arc.
    My friend had a problem similar and he just uninstalled and installed it through arc due to arc couldn't read it for a weird reason.

    If it was completely removed before you got arc on your computer, you will have to download and install through arc.

    Make sure your whole Perfect World folders are gone and are uninstalled! because it could be trying to figure out what pwi folder si what and is getting confused.
    Remove it all and start all over again...

    Download it and install and update the game.

    try that... If not just send in a ticket.
