Quest chain for foxform? Anyone has the info?

I was wondering if anyone has a link to the quest chain for the 100 foxforms. I was wondering if it's too long, I'll just merch the Nether Soulcore thingy.

It's quite long and though most of it is soloable, you definitely will need help with the final boss, and likely with the bit near the beginning inside Seat of Torment (which is harder than it used to be.) Look here and backtrack through the required quests to see what's involved. It's possible to complete it over the course of an evening, though.

The quest line is quite fun and it has a pretty nice story, I highly recommend reading it. Just grab a snack, relax and go for it.

I absolutely loved it, especially the NPCs interacting with each other and all that, was really nice and I just totally enjoyed it :P it would be a shame to miss all that and just buy the item.

Sadly nobody actually wrote a guide to the quest chain so you'll have to read up on the database but if you actually read the quest itself it should lead and explain where to go and what to do. If you get stuck somewhere you can just poke us on the forums.

Don't merch it. The new form looks pretty but that's about it right now, especially if your demon. If you want the new form, do the quest line. You'll end up paying 5 mil in the end after that, so why add another 40 mil to the total bill. The new forms were supposed to come with skills but the GMs and Devs have been (not surprisingly) closed mouthed as to their status. I'm hoping interest picks up on them again, but since a lot of people have lost interest in this game, well, it is what it is.

Actually the CM said the new form skills are supposed to be coming with the next expansion but that's all he said.

Seeing as they had actually postponed the pet upgrade system in PWCN to release it in a content update, I can see how they decided to postpone the skills to release them in an expansion.

Well PWCN has already mentioned new skills for the new form on their server (checked some of my sources), but whether it's being brought over to PWI, I'm not sure.

Apparently, they're skills involving attacks and debuffs solely for the new fox form.

@Desdi, ah that sounds interesting. I like something with a good storyline. Now... 3 more levels, MUSH!

@Kiszmet, yes I'm demon! How did you know? Well, I'm a girl, looks matter. The new fox form is so gorgeous, I must have it haha.

The chain quest take around 2-3 hours depending if you are focus on it or not, so it's not long.

And for the demon, it's cause the new fox form is useful for sage since it give a ton of chi while for demon it's crappy: reduces the chance of suffering a critical hit by 5% for 6 seconds. So the 29 golds doesn't worth it when you can get it for free in 2-3hours.

Honestily, I thought the lack of MP 20% penalty in fox-forme was pretty worth it for either cultivation.
Losing so much MP was always really annoying, and it would make auto-potting for mana or charms for mana much more useable for the venomacer with the upgraded forme. Since it was always the common consensus that venos just shouldn't use mana charms due to fox forme issues.
Not saying mana things are a necessity; I don't even use mana potions except for in cube in 100 second stand rooms with transfusion and sometimes during boss battles/those more practical PvE things... and back when I NW'd... but just putting it out there for the PvP.

I agree with those who suggest to do the quest chain. I did it and it didn't take that long. ^.^ It's fun to do actually and it keeps you busy if you're bored, hehe. But imo, with the minimal amount of work it takes to do the quest, paying millions for the stone isn't worth it.

Its not worth 29 gold lol. Just do the quest line. It's something to do but it is long o.O b:chuckle

Do the quest line. Besides the final boss and having to go through the beginning of Seat of Torment, the quest is a breeze. Just requires a bunch of teleporting/flying here to there and revisiting FB19 instances.

Like many, I found the MP drain when transforming was a mild annoyance. Now with the Imbued Fox Form/Spirit Fox Form, there's none. I have the Spirit Fox Form book, just don't feel like learning it yet lol.

OMG thank you guys for convincing me to do the quest. It's really long but omg it's so sweet. I actually teared at the part where Khatru Pup actually chose to become human so that he would be able to be with Niang Hu. And the later part where he wanted to avenge her death and became Rend Razorjaw omg so romantic....

One question though. If he became Rend Razorjaw. How did we have the Khatru Pup which we used to teleport from cities into Archosaur??? Or did I miss something.

As for the Khatru Pup and Rend Razorjaw part..well since this quest is a recent addition it kind of messes things up but it's still nice to have a backstory for the Untamed FB19!

My personal take is that

A. You screwed with the time line so things are already going to be messed up as far as old story and new story.

B. Given its an MMO, NPCs and other entities have to remain in place even if your character's story shouldn't be able to interact with them yet. I hope MMO's in the future fix this, but that would require a lot of coding and PWE... coding.... LOL.

C. After you fight Rend Razorjaw at lev 18 (or 30 now) he comes back to his senses and rejoins Lost City with a new master, the Adventure Assistant. You can now (and in the future) interact with him as normal, and discover his backstory when you are lev 100.

These two points make sense. Now that I remember, we had to fight it as an FB 19, and after that, we defeated the spirit of Rend Razorjaw so he comes back to normal.

Despite the TON of spelling errors in the conversations and stuff, I applaud PWI. This was one fun quest chain. Like wow, to see the events unfolding and to see characters moving and talking, felt wonderful.

Now. I don't know why venos choose not to stay in fox form. I try to be in spirit fox form all the time cause it's soooooo pretty.......

@Kiszmet - those are some good points. I don't think the Khatru would find a new master so I'll stick with messed up time-line theory...then again, who knows xD maybe he did get over it. Still quite sad though
