Duke Blacke...Idiot or Enemy?

Alright, lately, a friend and I have been debating this...(For fun mostly) Is Duke Blacke an idiot? or is he actually working with the Wraiths?

I mean, he's often the cause of many attacks on Archosaur (Or Lagosaur to my faction) But...is he actually HELPING the wraiths?

However we offer many bits of logic in favor and against it.

Logic For Idiot.
1. He has a shrill voice that echos across the land. (Hence annoying the Wraiths.)
2. He may say stupid things that most don't care about. (Sometimes saying the wrong things...that upset the wraiths)
3. He's a gossip for the entire world, providing many useless facts and rumors...to which he shouts across the land, yet again. (Upsetting the wraiths)
4. He doesn't help them on their assaults.
5. Evil doesn't need a reason to attack or destroy something. (The wraiths don't need a reason to attack Archosaur)

Logic for Enemy
1. He wanders Archosaur, so he knows many of its weaknesses.
2. He's the cause of nearly every assault on Archosaur.
3. He shouts the most useless of information, often just about items people get.
4. He charges for small bits of useless information.


I vote for Idiot.

    He's just doing his job :( He was programmed to announce useless information, so he's being a good NPC and following his role.

    That last one is true...he's doing what he was programmed to do in game. However. This is just a thought. Just for fun. Do you think he's an idiot or an enemy?

    Kitty thinks Duke ish both idiot and enemy. An idiot enemy. Thus players and wraiths have a common enemy and Duke can be happily fed to wraiths so they get what they want, leave the outskirts of Archosaur and everyone's happy. And Kitty ish happy 'cause Kitty could take his throne and enslave the inhabitants of Perfect World. f:cute

    He's both. He's and idiot and an enemy. He's the village idiot of Archosaur and that's saying a lot. He's also the enemy of the state...enemy of the entirety of Perfect World. I've hated him since I was a baby cleric doing dragon order quests...and I had to find duke blacke who intentionally moves around archosur to avoid me. Due to the hassle of dealing with the pain of duke blacke, I never ran dragon quest again. Since then, my hatred for him has only escalated. He intentionally bothers me wherever I may go...announcing the most useless information possible. Such and such has won token of best luck!! Well whoopty doo. Shut up about it. What does he do? Announce it for hundreds more consecutively. If we could go pk mode on npc's, I'd gladly take him down. Lol.. He's the worst in all of Perfect World, and he is the uniting bond between the wraiths and players....we all hate duke.. I'd be siding and agreeing with the wraiths. I'd be planning an attack on Archosaur too. One for its lag, and two for its idiot. No good enemy is that obvious, yet even an idiot has the basic survival instincts which duke lacks, and the basic desires....7 wives, yet you wander Archosaur always....Yeah, you're an idiot that's working for the enemy.

    My plan... Sage Chromatic Seal, Sage Dimensional seal, Sage Elemental Seal, Sage Silent Seal, Sage chi gain, Triple spark, White tea, Extreme Poison +Magical charm... TEMPEST!!!!!!

    DEAD DUKE....AND DANCES OVER HIS GRAVE!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I believe there is sufficient evidence that he is an undercover agent for the wraiths. scouting archosaur, being the goal of the wraiths in their attack against archosaur (or so we're told), shouting the strengths (items) of various players to all across the land, even to the wraiths, or perhaps that is a guise to call out targets for the wraiths to kill?

    seven wives and he still lives? cover wives, perhaps? there is most certainly something fishy going on.

    When I was in a 10 man squad in NW, everyone in the squad was from my TW faction and some of us are being serious, others are chilling out.... And then there's the one guy in our squad who is opening damn packs and getting Best luck during a NW fight.

    I have always wondered what the end boss would be in PWI, and at long last I think we have our answer.
    Duke Blacke is secretly the final boss of this whole game, and the only way to defeat him is to....

    If you notice, PWI tells you up front what kind of guy he is before you even talk to him. He has a non-Asian character model. Every time you meet an NPC in the game with a non-Asian model, he turns out to be a treacherous backstabbing ***. Look at Jolly Old Jones, for instance. :P

    Kitty has always considered him to be the final boss in FB109 Duke's Bedroom Massacre. Kitty used to look for more squadmembers for that, but never got a full squad gathered. Probably because to enter it one needs R10 gears with +13 refines. Even Kitty doesn't have such armor Q.Q
