I put Sanctuary down because it's my home server, and is also most likely the largest server as far as active population goes.

I tend to play on some other servers at times and felt they were valid choices for the poll so I voted for them as well. b:victory

Annalyse - Heavens Tear

I've played on both Heaven's Tear and Sanctuary, but I eventually chose HT as my home and abandoned my chars on Sanc. They are both great servers though.

Narcillatrix - Dreamweaver

Voted for two I play on three, the third being RT but as said before, I think it's there for the lulz. I've kind of abandoned it because compared to DW and HT, who's population honestly look fairly similar, RT is a ghost town. Which makes me kind of sad because I miss my toons from there, but just can't bring myself back to it. I pop in every now and then and it only seems to get worse.

I don't have time to respond to each post at the moment, but I wanted to say thank you all very much for the opinions / infos / perspective, especially the people who've played on multiple servers! This is exactly what I was looking for.

I think the only servers that share a name database are Heaven's Tear, Sanctuary, and Archosaur. I could be wrong though.

And to the above RT peeps, I still love RT, but maybe it's just because all my friends from that server left, and my seeker is so terribly behind her gear with no friends to help or even talk to, and a dead faction that keeps me away. And the factions she's tried to get into won't take her because of her gear. Lack of any coin and the inability to do NW doesn't help much either. xD

Archosaur is actually pretty nice. The PvPs active, the TW politics are interesting (kekeke) and the population....

You see, Archosaur has basically the same concentration of idiots/smarts as any other servers. However, our idiots are REALLY stupid, and our smarter folks are actually really good. So, no matter what kind of person you are, you'll fit right in. And no, I'm not telling you which kind of person you are. ^^

Sakubatou - Sanctuary

Whats wrong with the results being skewed because whichever server has the most active forum goers will win? Forum goers are (typically) educated about the game, helpful, and active. All good qualities when considering the best pve server.

Anyways, I started on Harshlands and moved to Sanctuary and am still pretty happy here. Back in its day people were more help. From what I've seen we have some of the best PvP, best pve, and our activity in the forums kind of reflects some of what is on our server. TheDan and I both have guides in the BM forums and are active and helpful there. Desdi is one of the most helpful venos around. Asterelle is an encyclopedia for many things pwi. I know the Sin forums were pretty much founded by 3 Sanctuarians. And in every other forum you can find active and friendly people from here.

We have our jerks. Plenty of them. True enough. But we still have a decently active 100+ community with what seems to be more f2p players and farmers than other servers.

One other aspect I've always been proud of is for the last... 4 years my faction has toggled back and forth between best and second place. Right now we are admittedly second place although we did just successfully defend. We are known as a PvE faction, a farming faction, that also coordinates and does pvp well enough to be one of the best factions. Many of us are free to play but so active and helpful to each other we compete cash shoppers that have sank 30k+ into their gear. To me the game is PvE and PvP is a sidebar. I think it's an accomplishment that a faction like us can be some of the top PvPers as well as some of the top PvEers by really knowing our class and it involves putting ourselves out in the community to farm.

Oddly enough, from what I've seen in the forums the least educated and worst PvP server's videos I've seen have always been Lost City and they're usually considered to have the most cs and most pvp. I think PvE and PvP go hand in hand with knowing your class and learning to react properly.
