Hi there fellow venos! f:grin

So when I started playing PWI almost 5 years ago, I didn't know much about servers. I just stuck with the first one that popped up and ended up in Lost City. On the long run though, that wasn't too good, because all the events are at bad times for me because of the time difference.

As the game became more and more P2W, it became harder for me to keep up, and eventually I just quit playing because I couldn't make any money. Though now that NW exists, I stared having a bit of hope. My hopes were crushed when I learned that NW, just like the other events, is at a bad and unaccessible time for me. I still managed to upgrade my veno a bit, but now I'm stuck again with the "no money" problem.

So now I've decided to reroll, start anew, at 0% progress, on the Harshlands server which corresponds to my time zone. With dream chaser packs, NW, and maybe a little help, I think I can come to fully enjoy this game again. f:victory

Ok, I'm done talking now, hehe. Here's my question:

Of course I'm going to stick with a veno. My veno on LC is hybrid vit/mag, which I like, though I've always been a little disappointed with her dmg. I was wondering which build I should follow to keep up to nowadays standards. Should I reroll to pure magic or pure magic with a little bit of vit? Or something else entirely?

If vit/mag hybrid works for you, stick with it, at least until you can shard/refine high enough to make restatting practical.

I found when i was a vit hybrid, i never liked it on Nabbubu, that i decided to go to HA (im not an AA fan on a veno, im a fox ho)

But as said, if you like vit/hybrid i say stick with it, but you could always try a new build for example, Pure, LA or HA builds. Depending on your play style.

If I was you I would try pure magic if really you don't like it you can reset back in vit.

It's all endgame gear related though so until you actually reach endgame and get your hands on a decent gear set you might want to keep your current one since you are on a PvP server but maybe those numbers will help you decide what build you'd like to follow.

When i began to play i was pure magic veno or i think i listen to my ex and at one point had like almost 60 dex don't ask idk the answer to that. i was new to MMO's and he was my life line lol. But i do know i hated dying so i was putting vit in instead of magic so i guess im hybrid now. I have thought about going pure magic again to hit harder.

Your post helped a whole lot, tyvm. ^.^ My main worry with going pure magic was to lack HP, but since there's only 1k HP difference with the scenario you listed, I think I'll go pure magic.

Another quick question:

I would like to have a veno and a bm, but Idk which one I should lvl up to 100 first. I really want to concentrate on one char only until that char is where I want it to be.

If I lvl up my bm first, I can then use it to sell frost and give my veno a spot in the exp room, so lvling her would be quite easy. Then again, which one would do better in NW? If the veno would, then I could make money more easily and get my bm his gear, but then it would take much longer to lvl him up. >.<

So what do you think? Bm or veno first?

According to a faction mate with veno and BM, both level 101, his BM does better in NW than his veno.

I actually made a really stupid mistake on my veno... Since she got fantasy fruit, she got from lvl 5 to 14 within a minute. So I had plenty of stats points. Guess what I did with it. Yeah, accidently stuffed em all in vit instead of mag. @.@ I want to keep my name so I gotta wait a week for that one to delete. >.>; Off to bm hehe...

Jones daily quests? What are those? =o I quit playing for a year so I'm not used to every new low lvl addition yet.

Jones bounty quests, 7 times daily per account per level range from 20 to 80, reward is coins, ratcheting up every 10 levels. This was a compensation for the DQ item nerf. Take them from Jolly Old Jones in any of the original race starter villages, you probably remember where.

I think you could level both at the same time for now if you can dual client. That way you finish quests fasters, do the cultivation all at once etc. and then start focusing on one of them when you see that keeping both geared up to level is getting harder.

I'd guess BM is tanky so it can take a few hits which may result in getting more points but I think gear/playstyle/playing skills and a bit of luck play a role in this too. I can't judge though because out of all the few NWs I've done, it was always on my Venomancer. I was getting a steady 7k-8k with S3 Nirvana +7 set.

That's nice of you. =] I chose Dreamweaver, though now I'm having second thoughts after finding out about a guild filled with sly *cough choke* evil *cough* venos who purposefully mess up the rare pet spawn times, making it really hard for anyone else to find out when they spawn. f:gross f:shock f:horror (I used to make ends meat with taming rares... Plus I love taming so much. ) And isn't RT pretty empty? I might be mixing it up with another server though.

@ Kinna - might be mixing it with Archosaur. I've heard that server is rather empty by other players (being amongst the newest ones, just what I've heard, don't have proof myself) but I don't think anyone said anything about RT. Plus, there's Mayfly there that can help you out f:victory

RT's pretty well populated; you might be thinking of Archosaur. There's also a fair amount of low level BHs WCed for.

I think people on HL don't really care about the rare pets, not at the point to go mess up the time for fun, also on Sanctuary I realized that rare pets are sold at a crazy price, I don't know if it's like that on all PVE servers, but on HL we can find them a reasonable price, on Sanctuary a baby bear is minimum 1.5m (I even saw at 2.5m), on HL you can find at 400-500k. Even other rare pets are way more expensive on Sanctuary and I go check often and never see it so can't tame it myself.

I heard RT is less populated, even dead, but if it's like other PVE servers it might be hard to get the rare pets. :S

TBH Bella I think 400-500k isn't that reasonable, but I guess that's my "I wanna have fun and make money at the same time" side. xD I like when prices are higher hehe. I still remember farming all the money for my nix with taming and selling rares over 4 years ago back when they were 700k-1.5m. Good times, good times... *dreamy face*

So now that I've definitely decided to make a pure mag veno, it comes down to which server I should choose...

RT - Seems to have low population.
Idk how helpful the people are.

HL -
Low rare pet prices (was planning on making money at low lvls with taming)
I made a psy just for fun but with my favorite name that I have on my veno on DW. So I'd have to wait a week for it to delete. u_u
Idk how the people are there. Are they inclined to help you at low lvls or rather to leave you in the dirt? xD

People seem to be ready to help at any time. I got into this great guild at lvl 20 and the people are awesome.

Well i have a 103 veno on Arch my main server

I have EllaBlue which is currently lvl 13 on HEavens Tears server..my get away server (also have a lvl 50 wizzy)

and i made a new veno on RT Cheyann lvl 1 lol Also have a lvl 25 mystic. I made it on RT so when West coast servers go down i can play there hahab:chuckle
