Just tried weekly SoT for the first time on my archer. Had 2 clerics, a mystic, a nicely geared barb, great wizzie and seeker, and Helfire owned us like we was lowbies. they need to tone that guy down QUITE a bitb:cry

    Get cleric who can handle the AoE in BB, sin who can tank the boss in BB and deal enough dps to hold aggro apsing. Find demon HF BM, sage amp veno with soul degen also. Some more sins/high dps toons. Kill the boss in 1 spark, thats pretty much the simplest way to do said boss. Seems to have decent odds for books during 2x drops though.

    Ps. Doing it the "puzzle" way is multitudes harder than apsing it, which really is ridiculous.

    Kill him last. Literally kill ALL other bosses (including queen) and then do him. It helps.

    Also, use some of the rapture crystals from the queen to protect squad members from the AOE. I've heard that helps too (although never tried this method myself.)

    Always remember to pull mobs into the traps as well. because they hit hard and have more HP then the boss.

    Well, my gear isn't refined and sharded as well as at should be, and nobody is perfect, but at least I'm one of the few seekers still around that has played the class since the day it came out.b:victory

    It didn't seem that hard to kill when I did the SOT weekly quest O.o
    I was on a squad with a lot of R9's althought...

    I didn't find it harder. My mystic could solo it before and still can. If anything; the meridian system, and increased squad size has given us an advantage.

    I dont cash-shop for my gear, and still use TT90 boots/arms(lolI'muberlynooby). I did this rather well in a squad which almost wiped a few times. and you know what?
    It was fun! I am very Impressed at these new revamps, the rewards are nice too imo.

    Also I highly approve of the meridian system, especially for me since I am converting from a hybrid to almost pure dex. The extra HP really does make a difference for me.

    I'll try to make a video of it and upload it to my YouTube channel sometime though, cause I know I've done it once. Just as soon as I get the rest of my footage from the last 3 weeks of NW and pvp edited, uploaded, and off my hard drives xD

    The problem is there is such a wide gap in gear and experience between players, despite the fact that they can all be ~lv 100. What results is a disconnect between players in what they want, and that is really a side effect of the faster leveling.

    all you need is 2 healers and a barb and a bm and then fill in the others its really not that hard if you just do it a few times.hit boss, kill green blob, lure mobs to green trap, hit boss and go for it again. repet till boss is dead seems simple but you and the squad have to know what your doing.NO FORST BABYES ALLOWED! :) b:laughb:victory

    Gotta disagree with how the new update is. Hellfire one shotted nearly my whole squad through BB. This is a cultivation boss, and getting hit for triple my hp through BB and fully buffed. That isn't fun. I agree that hellfire needs to be toned down... A LOT.
