I am coming back after some times inactive and I need to download the game again. When I try to download it it says I need to also download this arc program. Mind someone telling me what is this and why am I forced to download it too? I really don't like to download additional programs to get into a game.

    dont worry extern torrents. afterwards always keep a copy of pwi on a another HDD, to avoid stupid that stupid thing of a launcher.

    i guess it is just another app that was already a miscarriage during planning. a futile attempt of some management genius wanting to establish another steam or itunes. the result is just another superfluous piece of software that does nothing but annoy the user.

    I HATE Arc with a passion! I'm glad I kept my 2 installers that I absolutely need and Arc will never touch this hard drive EVER again. f:fume

    This just in, the only way to access pwi is through arc. So, umm about arc never touching your hard drive...

    Nope you don't need arc to play if you never took pwi off your hard drive. I still play without arc everyday.

    I agree with this, I have never installed arc nor is it needed to run the game.
    Have checked Task Manager for it to make sure its not running,
    I hate running useless tasks in background.
    There are old Warriors, and bold Warriors,
    but there are very few old bold Warriors. b:chuckle
