I don't remember the mob name exactily now-- I want to say 'Foxwing of the Void' but I could be mistaken--but they're mixed in with some smaller, slightily lower leveled pink foxwings above some lake or some other... maybe around Plume's starter cities? it's been a very long time and I don't have any screenshots of him with his name or stats OTL
I did find a collage of green foxwings(one looks pink, but I'm fairily convinced that's just how the light was reflecting on his feathers, since Lantyrn got kind of like that, too) while doing a search, though

There's 2 or 3 different foxwings over Lake of No Worries SW of Plume (this area, along with Lake of the Plume, also has the largest variety of water tameables, with many different turtles and undines.)

I can't even put into words how much I agree with this thread..

I do use a lot of the pets that can evolve, like the Hatchling, Cuddly Pup, Kowlin.. and I have both the Herc and Nix. And all of those are special to me, of course.

But my Snow Hare and Foxwing are too. And neither of them have the option to evolve.
My Foxwing especially. He was named for my boyfriend, because of an accidental running joke before we got together. That Foxwing is very special to me, and at the very least, I'd like to see a model update for it, since they clearly didn't do a very good job on the current one.
But more than that, I'd like him to have more of a use in gameplay. It kills me that he just can't keep up with my other pets.

My lovely Cragrock Warrior. *Yes it sucks, yes it stinks but it is huge and I love it!*

My Neolithic Wolf. *That hp recovery skill is beast, man* >.>

And one more but just can't remember which one...

Way before I even switched servers, those were the two that I used a lot before I got my herc. Even after moving, I ended up using the same pets again. They just remind me of the old school days on Dreamweaver - and how op they were *to players* before the whole packs-thing-of-a-**** happened.

Ahh memories.
I used to have a Neolithic Wolf. Its name was Sunday and all of my Veno-friends had Neolithic Wolves named after a day of the week.

..too bad they all quit and eventually my wolf was replaced with other pets.

In a somewhat related note im pisssed that pwi made the cute precious cub evolve into the same ugly thing as an armored bear. I spent alot of time with my cub. Lvl 20 on. He was my lil teddy bear

and i refuse to evolve him into an amored bear looking thing. Its heart breaking to me.... i even bought my cub bramble so he didnt feel left out when green circles danced around everyone else.... yeah i have a herc now and i evolved him first so he could be a summon wanna be with cloud walking xD. But i always had a special place for my cub <\3

I know right. They just saved on extra work, saying a bear is a bear. I have a feeling they will do the same with all if they ever expand evolutions; all bees into the one that is now, all wolves into one... I'll be annoyed if they do that, because at most cases it's not even a lot of extra work; like changing colour, size or adding spikes to the same model.

I would be happy if they just made him evolve into a polar bear like in fc. No armor just a plain bear. And why give such a stupid name? I mean think pwi! Think!

there are oversized Shaodu Cubs in the EG area.

I don't want my bear to get bigger... I like him small. b:sad I know it's vain and stupid, but I'm second guessing evolving him because I don't want a huge clunky pet flopping around in front of me, blocking my ability to click on the mob or team member. Bleh!

I think that makes your post not vain, dear x3 That's the reason I don't like using giant pets, too; especially since assist-attack targeting doesn't work to get around pets....

And for the poster who said she wants to punch in the face venos who still use pets in dungeons...my pets have max mag debuff which I use when both my myriads don't proc mag.

Please be contented then with that myst with the crappy 20% mag debuff hurhurhur

I feel your pain Markhor. Large pets are pain to run with because they will take up half your screen and block your targets.

As far as getting pets you don't want just because they can evolve, I'm in the same boat. I didn't want to get a bear but I'm working on a shadou cub now because I need a stun support pet and they have two stun skills. I also didn't like many of the other evolvable pets save for maybe the scorpion and Drizzy (Drizzy? Really?) I have the dino, which is ok, but I miss using my wolf with his stun and cancel abilities and his ability to run around being ignored so they went off all the time without fail. He was the perfect support pet for my veno. Now the dino steals the spotlight and he has a long way to go before he's A team like my wolf was.

I can understand what you feel, I evolved my sawfly and she looks really cool b:pleased, and I'd evolve my herc once I get one but my vortex crawler, jaden qingfu or minkii mongoose, can't evolve.

Although maybe is better that way, it makes me really sad how ugly the evolved magmite looks like b:cry it looks like a walker!!! b:angry so I won't evolve him. b:sad

I think its not going to happen but I hope your baby gets a gotee at least, although a Krixxix/Aerox looking adalwolf woulf be awesome!
