It was a lot trickier than I originally thought, but it was understandable after some experimenting! The first quest glitched on me (most likely due to me lack of inventory space), so I didn't receive the item required to get the next quest to get the mat needed to craft the new wings.

Fortunately Agulfr was a part of the squad that got an Aurogon (which are untradable), and was able to record for me what happened, as I gave him the materials to upgrade. As I rewatched the footage, I noticed that the material to craft the Gold Snake Cloth was account bound and untradable. I was quite nervous when he was crafting due to the fact that the wings might could bind to his character.

But it didn't!
