New Pet instance discussion

I just went in and activated and everything... But now it keeps telling me to press CTRL and attack a guard with a skill... I'm doing that in all possible ways but it's not working... I only have 1 hour and 50 minutes left... What must I do? plz help me our here... b:surrender

Same problem here, pressing ctrl doesn't even get you the usual attack cursor...

Tab target the "?" mobs in front of the guards with aoe attacks to get it started.

Same for the puff bird to change its status effect.

It's not a one hit activation. Keep hitting the "?" with aoe's until it activates. Have a pet whomping on it also.

Yeah I know right. The game tells you to smack a npc so you try to smack it lol.

Finding the ghosts once the waves get rolling is a nightmare. -100 here b:avoid

I ended up with -164... But I got 18 Stars... Gave one to NPC and got another 140... If this goes every day I guess it's kinda rewarding after all... f:cute

I have a feeling the 140 is the first timers prize. Seeing the exchange old stars for new option is giving me a bad feeling about how long it's going to take to farm the rest.

Yeah, another question... I got these Feral Soul Stars but how can I use them to train? I'm in front of Ms Zoologist but I can't seem to use the Stars... b:surrender

Edit: Never mind... pet must be summoned to feed... My bad... =D

Open your pet bag and click on the new icon to the top right of the pets info. There you can evolve lvl and do all the fun stuff with the stars.

My Piggy went from 44 to 80... Finally I have a decent air-pet that can work for me... No more need to ask others to help me on air mobs (yes I was too lazy to train it properly)... f:victory

Who cares... We get 18 Stars a day for just trying... With a little patience we can get what we're planning too eventually anyway... It just takes more patience if we don't improve somehow... f:grin

Mayfly - Dreamweaver

Celestial Giant (evolved Baby Hercules) swims and flies, unevolved herc and nix have old limits. Have a friend got a Monkey King, it can swim and fly unevolved.

I just love how PWI over-explains no-brainer things like a menu and gives absolutely no useful info on how to do the quest. "Talk to Mrs. Zoologist" is about all the instruction we've been given. Then the game TELLS US to attack the mobs using ctrl+atk and nothing happens. I shouldn't have to come to the forums to read everyone else's tales of woe to find the one fluke that figured something that works out.

From what I can tell we need to activate all the NPC "mobs" to attack the waves. How we're supposed to do this I have no idea. I activated 2 before the waves started and it wouldn't allow me to activate any more after no matter how much I AoE'd the invisible thing next to the mobs.

I wanted to scream and put my fist through my monitor.
