Faction problem solving solutions?

we need new guild systems, just an idea... but a player tracker... so that we can track how long people are offline in our factions, and possibly friend lists? I think it would help greatly in overall game mechanics for healthy factions. My entire family plays PWI and we all run our own factions. It would be nice to have some more tools for factions. Also thought some kind of external linking for guild websites? maybe something with guildportal? maybe an overall faction tracking system? :P Thanks for listening.

I really think this is a critical issue. People need more control over their factions. I think they need to revamp the social structures too... Some Ranks don't have enough control... only 2 people can kick/change slogan/titles.... the Marshals need more control. If you don't trust people with it... then demote them or don't give it to them. But owner/co owner can't do 99% of the work 100% of the time. especially since using titles is the only way to SOMEWHAT track a persons activity. (title = toon lvl) zZ. Really need more user friendly stuff for faction control

1. This belongs in the Suggestion Box, not in the Quality Corner.

2. If you want to do tracking for your guild, just do it. It's easy to tell if someone hasn't bothered to log into the game in over a month, send them mail and you'll get a message that their mailbox is locked. Then you know it's time to give em the boot.

While it would be nice to get more data, and even some integration, because of the age of the core files, it's not likely that you will ever see any such thing.

That said, I agree 100% that I would love some changes. Specifically, I would love to see something that tracks the last login date of users.... in a really large faction, it is hard to keep track. Not only that, but I'm never sure if someone might just not be in my timezone, and questioning other members doesn't always help. At the moment I jot down the names and levels of people I haven't seen for some time, then wait a month and check on level again.... but it still isn't a surefire method.

Also, I would love to see more than just Leader/Director able to grant titles. Marshals at least should be able to.
