Earning money as a returning player

I play during breaks every several months and each time I return I feel a little overwhelmed at all the new features. b:surrender

Anyhow, I was wondering whether or not doing HH solo runs are really profitable anymore. I haven't really played consistently since late '09 or '10 with a 9x LA demon veno. Right now all I have equipped are the HH90 gear, so I don't know if that's feasible with some of the new instances.

I'd like to use the funds on my sin as well as probably get both of them to level 100 in the far future since I play casually. Is there anything/place you can recommend? And is Warsoul or ranked gear really a necessity endgame?

    Nowadays NW is the way to make money quite easily. Farming TT is also profitable but veno's are slower in it than BM's/Sin's

    Any good advice people give you here kills the market. NW was profitable in the beginning but if you're a veno that's fallen that far behind; you're likely better off farming herbs, mats, etc.

    Buy low, sell high works too.

    I looked up NW but I'd need better gear. I'll start farming both mats and TT once in a while. Thank you for your suggestions!

    I goto NW on my 85 psy and i have averaged a tad over 50 tokens total for the last 4 events i have gone to. At this moment I could sell those right now for right around 20m for a specific mat all the nabs want.

    You do not need crazy gear to play with the top end chars, you just need to play smart, and use your skills smart. I stopped playing on my 2 high level chars because the return for the effort was not there. If I played hard as I could on my barb it would cost me upwards of 12m+ just in charms and I might get 10m of that back in tokens. On my psy I use no charms and only use herbs to replenish my mana. Gear wise she has a +4 or 5 FFC gold weapon, and a mix of mod drop and tt70(or80) gear. So almost completely free gear.

    I made a trolling post on it if you would like to read it hehe. I will post it below. The highest I will level her is 89(at this time) as I will do NW till i get enough tokens to make a warsoul weapon for her so I can faceroll even harder.
