I use arma on the frogs because even at +10 on unicorn tragedy, as a vit build barb it wont always kill them due to the low-high range on the axes. I get the HP back from killing them and I get chi back by using bestial rage at the beginning of the run and it's off cooldown well before the end of my pull.

The barb in this vid has 40k HPs, but you dont need that to solo PV.

An average G16+6 barb with somewhere between 20 and 25k HPs can do it. A demon can do 5 runs, sage a bit less i think.

With demon sunder-arma, you kill everything easilly before invoke runs out. A sage might have to slam and run for a minute and kill them in a second invoke.

Make sure you have protection while pulling in case you get stunned. Usefull are cornered beast, AD, sutra orb. Use this if you get stunned before your end point. If you run out of protection options you will have to end your pull there and invoke. Be carefull pulling while invoke is on cooldown and make sure you have multiple safety options available when you do.

repair is a **** and you might want to bring spare parts :p
Everything i write is from PvE perspective unless mentioned otherwise.

On top of cornered beast, blood rush is nice to use. You can break an early stun / slow down by using Violent Triumph at the start of your run. You can chain that to a vacuity powder after VT wears off for even more time on anti movement debuffs. Just don't go too fast that you'll drop aggro on everything. IE, holy pathing through on anti stun (or using shadowbinders/charger orbs) is a bad idea unless you double back before the mobs reset. Unfortunately, they wont follow all the way.

as per the combo used on those pulls.. not sure why it was done in that order.. arma gets no boost from spark. wouldve made more sense to sunder off that triple spark, then do the arma, and slam anything that might remain. Can throw in a mire before the sunder, then ToP just before swapping to humanoid - will maximize the damage output on those two hits together. Since a demon barb gets crit buff on sunder, with the same gear setup it wouldn't be necessary to triple spark up front - though it doesn't hurt to do so. You should still come out with enough chi for the next pull.

I'm sorry to say, but this is more a showoff of gear potential than a proper "how to do PV solo" as a lesser HP barb could do just as well if not better, by performing better aoe combos.

Eh, you're not thinking outside of the box. Spark lasts for all 3 of the AOE's and yes arma isn't affected by spark. The AOE's are quite logical.

ToP + Arma - Massive AOE damage to start (crits 1 shot the mobs)
Slam - Pushes mobs back saving durability on gear and does nice damage
Berserkers Wrath - Has the largest cast range and AOE range. While the mobs are slammed back, berserkers wrath hits them all at range and pulls a few mobs around it from the large 20m hit range.

While you're quick to criticize on your high horse you're not exactly thinking efficiently regarding gear durability. Often my rings would be very low after these runs as the durability on those are much lower than HA gear. Regarding your sunder, I was pulling with a +4 refined r8r defence level weapon and switching to g16 axes in the video so sunder is pointless with such low physical attack and attack levels.

Take notice to detail before you herp derp.
