ARC won't download

I reinstalled my OS and since PWI no longer gives you an installer file, I had download it again through this ARC bull****. I install arc, press Install and nothing happens. It doesn't freeze up, doesn't give me any errors, just does nothing.

PWE, if you can't make a ****ty steam knockoff that actually WORKS, then just put your games on steam or bring back the old download methods b:angry

    Poke around this forum for a short bit and you shall quite easily find links to the old download methods.

    Did that the first time I wanted to download without using ARC. The links just redirected me to the ARC download page. They don't work anymore.

    im haveing issues as well...downloaded that stupid arc thing and now it says my PackDLL.dll is missing and i cant repair it or anything. I want to get rid of arc but I can only find that download to play andive been playing this game since it opened.

    That's common with antivirus interference.

    Check here for non-ARC downloads.

    got same problem... stupid arc... why is it still in pwi?

    I had this same problem- whenever I went to install anything, clicking "Install" would do nothing. To fix it, I just ran ArcRepair, located in the folder you installed Arc to.
    It fixed it for me.

    Arc works smoothly and perfectly fine for me and my brother. In a way i actually don't mind it since i got my new computer.

    Mine just brings me to save the game on my PC and than when i choose where i wanna save it there is no button like next or install or even an X to quit the window the window is all black around and there are no buttons to press...and each time i have to quit it through task manager.I'm really pissed because I wanna play neverwinter

    what you can do to get the game installed is spam your enter key then hit install and it sould start instaling it

    i downloaded arc and i downloaded PWI to, and everytime i try to start up PWI it gives me an error. what can i do ?

    In my case, I'm on windows 8 and Arc didn't have enough privilege. Running it as administrator worked.

    As mentioned above - run arcrepair.exe from the folder ARC is installed to.

    I had to run it from a admin command prompt though for it to actually start.

    It ran and then game installed just fine.

    I have tried it all. I really enjoy playing Forsaken World but nothing i do gets ARC to download. It says it is updating then a window pops up saying an error has occurred. Tried shutting everything off firewall virus protection nothing works. Oh well guess I will just have to find another game to play which is a shame because I do and have spent money on this game. It saddens me because I met alot of really nice ppl on this game that I would love to continue talking to. Thank ARC for being messed up.

    Any thread over one month (30 days) old is considered to be a dead thread and you're not supposed to post in them. The person you are replying to probably doesn't care any more or can no longer be found on the forums. The topic itself could be out of date. Next time just make a new thread.
