New character - Invalid name

This is *not* about the Invalid Name/Password log-in issue.

Trying to make a new character, keeps saying "Invalid name" when I put in normal ordinary stuff.

Similar to the topic above, mine happens to be a tideborn, too. It has nothing to do with Hebrew names and whatever, since I'm just trying to get DC in the name. DC by itself is taken, obviously, so I have to put something else in there. All of my other characters are o_BLABLAH_o so that they all match (even my other tideborns have it), but all of the sudden it's not accepting underscores anymore. I made a test character on another server and just slapped in something with all lowercase letters, and it accepted it (but the test character wasn't allowed to have underscores). But magically all of the sudden, I try to put in underscores and keep getting Invalid Name over and over. I tried using symbols I have seen other people use ($,/,\) and all those say Invalid Name, Invalid Name. I don't want a smooshed all-lower-case name, especially when this normally isn't a restriction and I can't change the name later on.
