Unable to move after dying in tournament event

SUMMARY:

When exiting the tournament event via death, you are alive, but the UI window that displays when you die appears even though you are not dead. In addition, you cannot move until you relog.

STEPS:

Pre-requisites: Level 40 character, carry 100k on said character, someway of achieving death (e.g. a second character that enters the tournament to kill you).

1. Enter the tournament event via the Tournament Agent NPC between 8:00-8:05pm.
2. At 8:05-8:10pm, dig the qualification chest that appears.
3. At 8:10pm, talk to the NPC that appears that takes you to the next round.
4. Get killed while in this room or the quarter-finals/semi-finals/finals room.

RESULT:

You are teleported to the bridge just outside the South Archosaur gate. You are alive, but the UI window that displays when you are dead (e.g. gives you options to return to city, resurrect, etc.) appears even though you are not dead. In addition, you cannot move until you relog.

Note that this bug doesn't occur if you leave the tournament event without dying (e.g. town portal).

EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR:

You should be alive without the UI window that displays when you are dead and you should be allowed to walk/fly/ride around as normal.

    Confirming this bug.

    If you're in PK mode, having someone else kill you after you spawn on the bridge will send you to town and then you can go around normally without the need to relog. However since not everyone is in PK mode all the time and not everyone will want red hours (not to mention charm ticks/auto-pot going off and so on) it's not a very efficient method to counter this.


    I've always assumed it was intended that you spawn by the North Archo Adventure Assistant like what happens in the Snake Isle race since that's where those who "win" the event (aka dig one of the chests in final round) wind up and those players are able to move around normally.

    This makes me unsure if the glitch is because of the forced teleport combined with the forced auto-res on death (IE: getting 1k'd back before rebirth was changed to an area where you didn't auto-res) or not but at that point I'm just speculating.

    This is also a common way for some less savoury people to farm kills since you exit the toruney with no buffs and unable to take any actions. I know a r999 psy on DW that just swaps to black and farms the people exiting :3

    I had that issue in the cube lol. i died and couldn't get it to go away.

    RESULT (addition):

    You are teleported out of tournament, without buffs, just ticked charms, low energy genie, apothecary in cooldown and unable to move - outside of the safezone!.

    if removing the entire bug is way to complicated, moving the exit-spawn by a few units into the safezone would at least fix the issue of the vultures waiting for free kills at the tournament exit.

    This also happens sometimes when you die in warsong. Hard to replicate the warsong issue though.

    I guess the boss kills you so bad, the game is hinting at you to stay dead. My guess is, you die the first time, in the respawn process you are where the boss is, boss might aoe, that causes second death on the spot. Game may not know how to handle a second death upon the first one on the same spot. So it teleports you outside as a corpse, flying on the exit point.

    I just relog for the tourney glitch, annoying yes, but meh.
