How to kill someone with better gears than you

Hello!
Since 80-90% of the servers population is claiming that pvp is not about the gears, but about your skills, it would be really nice to give some suggestions on how, someone with these gears http://pwcalc.com/5293ad26dedd5fb0 , could kill a r9 player ?
Maybe a video or some suggestions for what skills or tactics to be used, could be provided.

PS: maybe instead of g13 daggers, I could get g16, so suggestions with g16 will also be welcome.

however, in your case, it's not really an issue of game injustice, it's just that you are using a pve setup so your only chance to stunlock and aps them and pray that they don't break it, nobody else notices you and they are not brambled/soved

In this era, where everyone has the oppunity to get g16 stuff really easy, why would you consider g13 as a good pvp weapon?
More and more people get r9 or g16 set and both give good DEF and DEF Lv.

G13 just cant rip through that defense easy, you really need some good luck and a low HP opponent.

I suggest ALLWAYS to use Power Dash with g13, when you hold someone in place with Tackling, use Power Dash and Tangling Mire. Will boost your DPS quiet good.
Dont use Extreme Poison often, because i would save up some points for Occult Ice and/or AD to escape, when you hit like a baby with PD and Mire together.

Also a Tripple Spark + Ironguard Powder combo is quiet usefull too, you then can use your tripple spark for the full duration. Ofcourse the enemy isnt stupid (Lets assume that atleast here) and will run around, run away or whatever to escape that. Hold them in place with tackling or use Stun Teleport.


Those are just 2 simple, very cheap ways to kill some better geared players, not easy but you can deal some good damage on them with it.
Those are APS tips btw, using skills will be not such a good idea with g13, because they have low damage on skills (not that they deal good damage on APS, but APS is better here)

G16s hit loads harder (double?) than G13s. Barrier Thorns have a decent refine rate but very poor base damage (similar to Hook and Thorns) so you're basically using a level 80 weapon and asking why you can't kill people in endgame gear.

Yes, get G16s.

So, assuming you upgrade to a better weapon that build still has great damage output, its weakness is its defense. So don't get hit, kill fast. Use your tele stuns, your stealth, etc... If you can make them burn their AD or IG first you can win. Also, learn to chain stuns, freezes, sleeps, and seals.

Don't ever trade damage with them. You are a 1-3 shot for almost any 100+ char with a decent weapon. Either have them locked or be kiting. If they AD, wait about two seconds then use your AD. Stun them when theirs wears off and dps them.

Its obviously suggested you have a defensive set of gear (full G16 being pretty cheap, with magic ornies) and a dph weapon, and then a second set of aps gear for pve.

Thank you guys for your suggestions. I have this build because till now I was more oriented towards pve. I know that g13 is week in terms of dph, I am planning to get my g16 as soon as possible, the only problem is the money and the time for farm it. That is also the main argument why I cannot have another set of gears for pvp.
I will try to practice more.

A 'simple' solution is spend your next chunk of time and money farming a Pan Gu's. Its needed to keep 4/5 aps with endgame daggers. Once you have a Pan Gu's switch to using r8 daggers until you farm G15/G16s. The r8 daggers will both out dph and out dps your G13s (until +11), even at just 4.0, and boost your crit rate which is valuable for pk.

I was pretty impressed back then, when someone hittet me with +10 r8 daggers and got very nice spike damage going on.
A bit later a different sin got me and was apsing me with g13 daggers and i was able to conter and kill him, because i could tank the damage quiet a few seconds.
After that, i saw him in the sz and i looked his equipment up and he got g13+10 which was weird, he wasnt hitting as hard as r8.
The crits r8 daggers can push out can be really impressive. with a little luck, you can 2-3 shot average APS gear sins in no time.

When its a fight against some r9 ppl, well it can be hard but i can leave this youtube link here, which is VERY impressive if you ask me.
In this Video, a Sin with +0 r8 daggers is killing an r9 archer over and over again.

While PvP is about skills, unfortunately you do need somewhat decent gears to win. If your opponent out gears you way too much, you simply won't do enough damage to kill them before their charm ticks.

An APS build was an extremely effective setup for 1 v 1, as it uses the theory that the best defense is a good offense. It was able to kill most, if not all classes in 1 stun. Combined with the locking ability of the assassin class, you were able to kill people much better geared than you before they are even able to attack back. Notice however, that I use past tense. This is because in the r9rr era, purify proc has nerfed APS builds completely. Assuming they are decently geared, not afk and have IQ higher than 0, it is almost guaranteed that purify will proc before you are able to kill them, allowing them to escape, making it extremely difficult, if not impossible to defeat a caster with purify proc using APS.

If you wish to fancy yourself and attempt to kill casters using purify proc, then it may require the usage of stealth, multiple sparks, possibly occult ice, and ironguard. However, I will not really go into details since I consider aps obsolete due to r9rr.

If you wish to fight non r9rr players, then ensure you are taking minimal damage, while preparing them for a situation where a stun + auto attacks will finish them off. If you are tanky enough, then perhaps you can just freeze without stunning sometimes. I have some videos on my channel that you may be interested in, as Tsyren stated xD
