Hotkeys and Shortcuts

Today when i was swapping my pots in the my short cut bar (keys 6 and 7) i was replacing npc pots with herbs and crabs. I clicked and dragged the crab meats onto the slot where the other hp pots were. When i let go of the clicker on the mouse the game crashed.

    1. Ensure that your client directory is excluded from all antivirus and security software scans.

    2. Ensure that Patcher.exe and elementclient.exe are excluded and ignored from real-time scanning, and allowed in the firewall.

    3. Verify your files 3 times, (once never fixes, and sometimes the second pass misses things).

    4. Reboot and try again. Can you replicate it repeatedly?

    Repeatedly yes, but never continuous. e.g. i was doing it on an alt and it happened and then maybe 1 hour later i done it on my main and it happened again.
    I have noticed that if i first remove the previous pots that were in the short cut key and then put the new pots into the empty short cut key nothing happens that shouldn't happen

    Did you try the repair steps I mentioned above, and then try to replicate it again afterwards?

    I swap pots and skills all the time swapping from Trials, to TW, to farming, to regular instance runs. Haven't ever run into this before on a variety of systems.
    I'll do some specific testing tonight when I get home, but it does truly sound like a localized issue.

    Are you serious? What kind of verification process would only get things right on the third pass? XD

    Funny thing is, I know of a machine where PWI occasionally slows down the system immensely and/or freezes it entirely, especially when certain characters are initially logged. Should try this on it.

    Do the three verifys have to be done immediately after each other, or can you run the client in-between them and just let them run when you plan to be afk?

    I always run them back to back. I've never been able to figure out why it will miss things on the first two passes.
