is server down on west coast?

i try to log on but, it shows all west coast servers are down

    Some people are logged on fine, some are having terrible ping spikes, and some like yourself just can't seem to log on at all.

    It's probably somewhere in between you and the servers, rather than the servers themselves.

    Based on the posts I'm seeing about this, My guess is that a regional router hub or trunk line has fallen over.
