Massive Ping inside Faction Base

is anyone here having that problem?

i have no idea whats happening but it only happens when im inside faction base. the ping i get is like 6k. but when im in outside world or any place, my ping is smooth? why is it.. plss help

    My First guess would be you're using Norton360 or some other similar antivirus program and it's flagging the map files for the base.

    My second guess would be that you have corrupt files.

    Without more information, I won't attempt to make any more guesses because it's kinda pointless.

    Also, this should have been posted in Tech Support.

    i dont use norton, i use mircosoft essensial and im sure its not the cause because i been using it for 2years.

    this is the current place that it gives me massive ping, LUnar, Warsong, Base and Cube

    i have no idea whats happening

    It could still happen that some update caused a file to become corrupted, even after it's been installed all these years. But you could get better information if you post the information sylen asked you too. Also moved this to tech support for you.

    ANY antivirus software WILL eventually corrupt the client. Just because it hasn't for two years previously does not mean that it won't get an update to it's definitions that will then cause it to flag client files.

    Also, MSE is similar to Norton in it's ability to bring your client to it's knees.

    I can absolutely guarantee that if you have not excluded the client directory completely from all security software scans, and additionally disable the active scan when you update the client. (With some software you can simply exclude the .exe files from the active scan directly.)
