Best time to do nation wars

I have been participating in NW since it started and have noticed a few things.

The best time to go to nation wars is on Friday. For some reason, the server actually allows you to play on Fridays, while on Sunday you will find the lag from the server so bad your skills won't work. You will get killed through absolute domain and while your are supposed to be immune from damage immediately after you respawn.

Tonight, I was killed through absolute domain 3 times and while respawning 2 times (had the proctective glow going at the time). This happened to me last Sunday as well. Anther thing I noticed was that skills would not work.... My barb would run up to the target and just stand there. He was not stunned as I could move him, he just would not attack. The only way to hit the player was to repeatedly hit the attack sword. Try attacking without your skills and see if you are not respawning in a very short time.

LOL Last sunday, I picked a player to attack and the toon ran the opposite direction and up the side of a tree where he was killed. It cost me a full platinum hp charm that nite and I was so mad, I left. There was a letter the next morning from nw telling me I didn't have enough wins so I don't get any tokens.

Another thing I have been noticing is the "random" assignment to nations is a pile of ****. The definition of random is all the R9 players get assigned to the top 2 nations every time. Example: tonite light and dark nation both had 400+ points while frost and flame both had 250.

I can understand the reasoning here...PWI is in the business of making money. The meduim they use is gaming. They advertise "free" to play but neglect to tell you that you will never have top gears farming for them. You can make a respectable toon, but will never be able to compete with the cash shopper who spends thousands of dollars on the game. If you are able to build R9 gears for a "farmed" toon, you will find your gears outdated by the R10, which will be replaced by R11 and so on. That is how PWI gets you to spend money on the game, so you can compete.

The way the game is at the moment, the only way to make any decent coin is to participate in nw, so I guess Fridays will be the night for me.

We heard this a million times and we get it, but your missing the point that every corporation goal is to make money, look at everything else in reality, it's all about money.

Friday I dced alot and Sunday I do better, it's not pwi fault that your have difficulty lagging its your Internet and IP. It's only pwi fault is EVERYONE lags and crashes or a server being shut down because of it.

I think someone already explained how r10 and r11 can't exisit unless they raise the gear grade or something because currently r9 holds the max grade even for gears over lvl 139. So this game probably be deserted before they even think of r10.

Absolute domain also have slow response, idk why, so use it ahead of time. I have times that my cursor is acting lagging and get sudden freezes but I was able to fix it by replugging my mouse and restarting my computer before NW.

My toon is a full r9r2 with just merchanting and hardwork, I know many others they farm their r9r2, so it is possible to get the best gear. Unfortunately I can't compete with the insanely refined and sharded players out there.

The game is too old and on the down slope for me to consider R9, so as it stands my characters are far undergeared compared to many who have been playing longer. This makes NW quite the challenge.

I just look at it this way, its just a game. I don't care if I am on the winning nation, or the losing one. Besides, in the end I can't take it with me, so why invest that much money into it (since my work schedule basically ruins any chance at farming. My time off is precious), or stress over being steamrolled by the "elitist cupcakes"?

If NW causes anger, then the point of gaming is lost.

SnowTempests - Raging Tide

I can see why some people in NW would be upset because usually 20% of the players determines the outcome of NW. The 80% just feels kinda helpless that they can't do much to change the results. PVP has always been a competition in PWI and most MMORPG, so I find this to be quite normal.
