hi i want ask something before i make my next reaction >.> ,

is it allow to seal someone during tiger event? or any other event? today while i was keep kill mobs there is two char keep seal me and use freez skills , i need really answer about it if it oki to keep seal ppl around u to get mobs kill or not , ..

if not you need to screen positive buffs and like one other change to your pk settings.

and stay out of white name during events

i'm not an expert on pk settings, but you have to change them so people can't expel you. in the pk settings(i tihnk?) there is an option called screen positive buffs, if you check this off, ppl can't buff you unless in squad or something similar, this will keep people from expelling you while blue.

yeah thats it! that should prevent non-squad mates from casting expel on you.

You should select 'Blessing Filter - Screen all non-squad blessings' as well if you don't want Spirit Phalanx cast on you. 'Buff Filter - Screen all neutral blessings casted on you' will prevent expel.

Lol. Usually I don't even have my expel genie on for it anyway, it was just that I didn't take it off after PV. At any rate, using genie skills/buffs are both valid tactics, I've had people use expel on my at PQ and it was considered a valid tactic (I reported and the gm said put on your buff filter). I've had the spirit phalanx used on me in weddings and haven't bothered reporting but I assume the reaction would be similar.

There are methods for avoiding both of them, as described by Tempy above.

However, just be aware that if you are doing something dangerous where you might die, some clerics won't appreciate you having expel blocked since it also will block incoming expels from your own squad.

We have a ~****~ faction on Sanctuary and one of their players uses his psychic to put Seal of Silence on my barb so the tigers kite after they hit me, and then uses expel on me from his alts if I forget neutral blessings.

Kind of funny he logs 3 or 4 alts and still can't beat me in tiger event. b:chuckle

Anyway, consider it part of your pve environment and just use blessing filter.

To be honest they changed holy path from AOE to only the player using it, same with AD, I don't know about PVE servers, but on PVP everyone and their mothers have the buff filter on so even in PVE we cannot use it anymore to save people cause everyone have it soooo....

Am I the only one that think they should make expel work on the person that use it?

Plus we will not need anymore to target ourselves to use it. ( I HATE when I try to save someone and cause the buff filter the person cannot get it, but it still take the genie stamina and make it in cd -.-)

The only time I use it on someone else it's when I pass in front of smooth Antoine (damage test npc ranking) and see someone 3 spark then I expel them to make them rage cause it's funny to see. (I'm nice I just do it 1-2 times XD)

But yea with the filter of buffs seriously they should make expel become a skill that work on the player using it.
