Questing after level 60

coins quests give me atm is enough for skills, gear and other stuff but I'm a little worried about reaching lvl 60. First of all, you stop getting those free charms (without them I'd probably die many times) then gear, ammo and skills will cost more since I'm archer! and I guess I will have to spend coins on potions too, not to die. It's pretty hard because I only do quests, never tried any pwi raids.

Any tips for questing and money making after 60? how much coins do lvl 60+ quests give? I don't wish to do raids although I do have guildies who often do them

There is a coin quest you can get from Jolly Old Jones that should give you enough coins daily to take care of all your needs. It actually started at 20+, IIRC From 80+ you can grind for dq items for coin. GO to the beginning cities (I recommend the city of the lost because later on there will be a dig quest right next to him) and talk to Jolly Old Jones in the starter area near that city. Hit Quest Related, and then daily bounty orders.

Around this level, there should be a quest involving a mystery pillar around Dreamweaver port. That quest line gives you a free platinum HP charm at the very end, and my partner's archer still has his into his 90s. And he's crazy and lets himself tank things sometimes.

That's because around 60s and onward, you should be getting into the "kill things before I'm poked" way of doing things archers are good at. You'll have knockback and stuns to keep mobs at bay, and nicer weapons to choose from.

If you're still using the white elf wings, you might still need some cheap mana pots though. (you can craft rather nice mp managing pots with the apothecary skill)

    You should be fine. b:victory

This, and the divine honors you get from blue divine contract quests 51+ can be traded for a whooping 300 mana pots each. Easy to get, and cheaper than the level 75 herbs.

As for pots, take some time to pick up herbs and turn them into pots. Those pots that you make are better than those you pickup off the ground which usually won't be enough to heal you most of your lost hp and also heal the hits that are coming. Really start to find good knockback and freezing combo's to effectively save money (if buying pots) and pots. This will also help with your repair bill. After you find a good combo to minimise the damage, try adding in powerful skills that way you can effectively use your arrows.

As for money, you can do Jolly Jones quests or dig herbs and mats to sell to catshops or even better, set your own catshop to maximise your profits. I recommend you at least talk to Jolly Jones everyday even if you don't have time to do the quests because he gives you money just by talking to him.

    Good luck!

The devs force you to power level, and as an archer in the low/mid levels I understand that pain of yours (I was cheap then) and died many times as an archer xD. CC as much as you can and use apoth such as life powders, focus powders and flourish orbs.

    plevel is powerleveling.

There are different methods to level your character very fast. Espescially the first 70 levels. The most efficient ways are to do 2 hours of zhenning and FC.

Zhenning is when you team up with a seeker who kills mobs in the rotflesh pits. It takes 2 hours to get to lvl 70. usually you pay 2m per hour.

FC = frostcovered city. This instance has 1 room that gives a lot of ecperience. A high level character clears the instance so the low level can get to this room and get the experience. I dont know exactly since i have never been in FC below lvl 70, but I believe you need 4 or 5 of these runs to get to lvl 70 or so. Price is something between 1 and 1,5 m per run. ?, (you can share this cost with multiple low levels, but you will need a few more runs then probably)

After that most people use FC to get to level 100. You can either do the full runs yourself (its a great instance to play) or you can pay 300k for a spot in the exp room.(since now you no longer need a high level to kill the exp mobs for you, you normally do it with a team of equal level players to share the cost) You need probably something like 100 runs to get from 70 to 100.

Finally there is phoenix valley which is probably the best way to level beyond level 100.

It is discouraged by other players mainly for 2 reasons:

-Players who do not play their characters trough the games content will end up with a high level character but no experience playing it. Some may compensate for this by practicing a lot with some friends and reading everything about their characters they can before they join squads in end-game instances. Some however seem to just jump in and this causes agrivation to other players.

-Many of those who are now high level see that the game eventually is all about farming and getting better gear. This can get boring and it may feel a bit shallow. People remember the good old days when they were experiencing everything in the game for the first time. They advise you not to skip this part of the game that provided them these great memories.

Haha, you didnt read the rest of it before replying. You must be in a real hurry to get to lvl 70 :D

Zhenning is sometimes advertised in WC, or you can ask for it yourself. Either ask in WC, or go to the pits and see if there are any seekers there whom you could ask. (the pits are on the second island west from raging tides)

Since the mobs are lvl 75, you get full exp with a seeker up to lvl 77. A seeker lvl 80 or in the low 80s may be equally good though if his killing speed is faster to make up for the lost xp. I think you shouldnt go too much beyond lvl 80 though.

Word of advice friend, if you're worried about the costs of things only at 60, then you shouldn't be trying to rush ahead to 70, the 25 levels you'd be skipping over, between quests, dailies, drops, and other little odds and ends, you'll miss out on somewhere between 4-5m total, not to mention that always valuable character skill experience.

Knowing how to play and knowing how to play well are two very different things. You say you may die without the charms that are given for free under 60, those charms didn't exist so commonly for a lot of us old timers, and we didn't die :P

Long story short, unless you're 100% comfortable, don't rush ahead. You will definitely regret it.

    60-Before 80:
    checkpoints:

    do you have R4 chest?
do you have TM69 interval cape?
at level 69, do you have a +5 Wind and the Clouds with at least a flawless garnet?
are your important skills maxed? Are your useless skills still on your skillbar?
do you have a separate TT70/80 chest for when r4 isn't enough, or interval draws too much aggro (read: bh69. I used to bring a 3* unrefined unsharded bow just to hold back aggro)?
do you have a defense cape to swap with interval?

if yes, continue leveling. Else get back to gearing up.

At 70+ if you can't autoattack non-glitched(omfg wraithgate glitch), non-+stat mobs to death from max range before they finish casting, tank bh59 and hold aggro over barbs consistently and survive with a competent cleric, you're doing it wrong

for 60 just get a tt60 cbow for 9 levels and sell it; you'll never need another TT weapon again.

again it must be emphasized that dps is everything to your survival. Wraithgate area is so freaking hard
