So, any of you sexy american players feel like logging on the EU servers and telling me if you're having some laggity lag lag? Even though your ping's good and you've got good FPS? Or whatever? A few people I know and myself are having some pretty bad issues as of the last two days whereas the people from Europe aren't. This isn't a common issue, as usually there's not a horrible amount of lag. So I'm curious if anyone else from good ol' 'Murrica would be having these issues seeing as it's such an uncommon occurrence.
Log on Loth and post results, gogo! Or, just check on the switch servers screen and tell me what the ping is for you. K thanks!

That's actually somewhat doubtful, given the low amount of americans who both play EU servers and post on the forums. There are those who do one or the other, but a decently small amount that do both.Samaela - Dreamweaver wrote: »I would, but I am in EU.

And sure, if I ever load pwi today, I'll create a character on Loth for a sec and take a glance at the fps and whatever numbers o-o

Thanks Venny. More important than the numbers, I want you to engage something in combat since that's when the lag seems to hit hardest. Or just use a series of skills.0 -

Sure, it's easily noticeable with high APS when your attacks are skipping, but you should be able to tell with a lowbie one too.0 -

I think more of nekomata.
Anyway, eh hem. When I first went on-server I had a ping of some 608 ms(which was laggy) and since then it's been between 440 at the very lowest and 546-8 at average all other times, so yeah it's pretty high. But I mean, I'd kinda expect that with it being an EU server and all, so.... eum the frame rate seems a bit slower than on the east coast servers and even though the base attack for a bm is 1.25 aps it feels quite a bit slower and more like the attack speed my veno has an-- and holy **** yeah it just for a moment was actually ay 1.25 and that was really fast o_o.
Does that help at all x3?

Who art thou? I assume you're referring to today's small amount of pk, which I could barely do anything in given the lag I'm suffering. Who art thou?
At least I'm not the only one.. Loth's been having so many issues lately... two times we've had our 2x shut up, and now the servers lagging.. interesting. Wonder if we'll be reimbursed b:avoid

I too have noticed a lot of lag even when my ping is ok or smooth. The moment to try to change directions, move my camera or fire off some skills it gets laggylicious on me. I can't say anything for the EU servers, but I just wanted to say you're not the only one experiencing the lag spikes, or whatever it is.We Are Recruiting: On The Dreamweaver Server: Fly Away Home To Zion

I'm from Australia so I always have high ping b:chuckle But I did log into EU servers to see how much ping I would get and I don't know if its the distance or what not but I get a higher ping from EU servers than the US servers. I averaged out to about 754ms. The best i got was 502ms. I usually average 498ms in US servers with the lowest ping I have ever gotten was 205ms.b:victory Not sure if that would help or not.

So that looks pretty normal to me, but a little more laggy in the NY hubs than I would like.
On the selection menu, ping is showing at 109ms. Looks normal considering the above trace.
In-game Ping was 235. (Always higher because that's a round-trip ping.)
FPS in Arch was 35ish, but since FPS and lag are not related that really has no relevance.
Whenever your signal has to "jump the pond" or go through a hub system like the one in New York, Denver, or Euless Texas where there are multiple hops in one location handling extremely large loads of traffic, you're going to have the occasional issue.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

If you aren't, then it's likely an issue localized on either your home network, or your PC itself.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
