Blinking screen?

So my screen for lack of a better word, blinks. One second everything's normal and the other, my mini map, character picture, target picture, half my skill bar(s), and log-out section just disappear.

I've sent a ticket and haven't gotten a response, so decided to ask here in case someones had the issue and knows how to fix it.

Here are some things that you can try.

If you have Vista or Windows 7, try running the game in Windows 2000 compatibility mode. To configure the compatibility mode for an application, just locate the installation directory and right click on the .exe, selecting Properties from the menu. Select the Compatibility tab. Under Compatibility mode, in the drop down box select Windows 2000. Click OK.

Try experimenting with your graphic settings (lowering them, turning effects off) on the game launcher menu and see if that helps.

If you have forced graphic settings through an ATI or nVidia control panel, try disabling the features you have turned on with those tools.
Update your video drivers for your video chipset from ATI, nVidia, Intel, or your system manufacturer's website.

For a quick response from a Tech Admin it will be best if you post a thread in New TechSupport Forum include the acronym for your game in your post title ALWAYS,
PWI-Perfect World International, also a dxdiag.txt will help to figure out the problem.

Thanks, I changed the compatibility thing to windows 2000, and it worked.
