    No, this is a very bad idea. Tested thoroughly. It may bain-aid the issue for a few minutes, but causes many more issues in the long run. The only box you should ever check in the compatibility tab is Run as Administrator. Although, if your system is barely capable of running Vista/7/8, then you might possibly also check "Disable visual themes" and/or "Disable desktop composition".
