Stealing the Skills of Another Class - A "What If" Thread

I've always thought this to be an interesting topic:
If you could choose a certain skillset to "steal" from a class different from the one you already play, what would it be?
i.e, you could steal a wizard's sutra, or maybe a seeker's QPQ... or perhaps a BM's marrows?
Personally I would prefer to have an archer's leaps on my sin. XD

Vote which class you would "steal" a skillset from. And no, it can't be your own class.
Notes: You can only choose a class for one skillset. i.e, you can't pick BP AND stealth. XD

I think most people would say ''Assassin'' As they are most overpowered class of all. Stealth, Teleporting. HEALING (79 Skill or BloodPaint) APS..Keep going?

I'd say purify spell too but it technically isn't a skill.

I guess id want something that another player cannot provide for me. I mean, it would be convenient if i could buff myself with cleric, sin and BM buffs, but i can get those anyways. HF requires the BM to be with you, so that already makes a better candidate. The seekers self buff however is pretty interesting. As are the BMs magic/physical defence thingies. Ye i think id say BM..... Fits the name of my new APS barb anyway "wannaBM"

There are some pots in the guild base that let you use the marrows. It's uneven training and unstable focus. I haven't ever used them, but they are there for the taking.

As for which class I'd take, it really depends on the class i'm playing on which I'd steal. Like I'd like the sins skills for my bm, not just because of BP but because of all the chi gain. On my cleric though, I'd like the psychic skills, I think.

Yup, although I think that casters would come out better in the skill stealing front because a lot of the best melee skills are used for the debuffs/buffs anyway. Like a cleric could probably make a lot of use out of QPQ or Heart Shatter (or any of the metal debuffing skils) than the other way around since with only 5 magic, a seeker would not get much out of say IH.

On a more serious note, I've always been very mobile on my sin. Run like a **** everywhere instead of using genie or apoth. XD People usually QQ at me for kiting too much, but I take this with a grain of salt. They're the dead ones, after all o.o

If I can steal multiple skills from one class:

Sage Adrenal Numbness (35 defense levels wut), Krav Maga (another 5 def levels because why not), Sage Soul Shatter (because what wiz wouldn't want to do 3.6x more damage in pve), Sage Blade Affinity (focused mind + instant channeling)



If it is just one skill:
I think purge.

Don't worry, if you want to be hyper technical it actually is implemented as a skill with its own skill ID. You just can't learn it.

Hard debate between Psy, Seeker, and Sin.

Psys for the Soul of X skills and Voodoos.

Seeker for QPQ and Def level buff.

Sin for Tidal protection and chi skills.

I'd take any of those on my Barb or BM. I wouldn't mind a cleric's CC skills either.

I'd trade GoF for Purify Spell any day.

I would love to augment my wizard with psy skills.

Souls are awesome, for starters.
Psys have a larger arsenal of non-chi consuming aoes than wizards.
Adding black voodoo would increase the wizard's already high damage.
Adding white voodoo would make wizards even tankier by caster standards
Also, psys have more control skills.

Combine that with the wizard's potential for high damage on a single target, blade tempest, and sage bids... b:dirty

Oh and if I could borrow a cleric's UVD... and mark of weakness... and elemental seal... b:surrender

well, as a sin i would probebly go for the attack lvls some classes provide as 3th choice...

but first and second choice are definetly invoke and bremble hood, i got the chi to cast both annyway and it would be awesome in pvp xD
