Makeover scroll removes hairstyles?

So I bought the hairstyle that puts earrings on you, but I have a Tideborn so they're a little out of wack because they have fins, not ears. I figured if I played around with the ear size/shape/position/etc I could line the earrings up where they belong. I bought a makeover scroll and went to the makeover lady, and when the edit screen comes up all items are there except the hairstyle, which is just magically gone and the character has normal hair again. Which means... I can't do what I came here to do because the hair/earrings both just disappeared. All the other custom items are there, it's only the hair that disappeared. I logged out and back in, did it over and over and it just keeps doing it. I can't adjust the earrings because they aren't there!

Uhhmm... is this a glitch? Do I submit a ticket/report somewhere or something?

It is a known issue - the customisation just doesn't see hair fash.
All you can do is change the ears blindly - hoping they will fit the hair fash. b:shocked
The fash will apear again when you confirm/cancel the changes and get out of customisation screen.
