Does channelling affect how fast we cast our skills?

    It does help by every class, but it isn't that great by EA's I think o:.

    Yes.

    But archers should not pick their gear for this attribute, the explanation of why takes more time then I am willing to give.

    Way back then, when R9 was something that never existed, channeling could be an option to build an archer with gear switching.

    shock and strike channel nearly instantly

    blast is one skill; it doesn't warrant building an entire gearset around it

    otherwise, stunning arrow-quickshot isn't really that much channeling as opposed to a bit of casting

    and take aim can't benefit from -chan gear since it's charge

    Sounds awesome but zooming thunder powder is a pot and I think OP was asking about -chan gear.
