Looking for Tome crates?

I read on the PWI Database that there is an item called a tome crate that can be mined for various materials that would help with making tomes. But i have not been able to find any information as to where they are or been able to find one in game. Any ideas?

    If the location or source for an item isn't listed in PWdatabase, then it isn't in our version.
