Patcher problems

Hello pwi forum, i would like to pose a question to you all, how do i fix my patcher if it is not responding and giving me a message saying "unable to complete update" and when it only starts to "update" when i close the patcher its self?

    Verify that the entire client directory is excluded from your security software, reboot, and try again.

    If Patcher throws an error, then try running Launcher.exe from the client directory. If it's just unable to complete update, either choose a different server, or you missed something in excluding the files and your security software is still causing a problem.
