To me that seemed more of "We couldnt take advantage of his knowledge when it was offered". We both know him well and Im sure you know as well as I do how theoretical approach he has into gaming. I think you are forgetting something... And that main 'thing' is that this is a GAME it is designed to be FUN.
People can play how they want to, and listen to who they want to, I'm sure some people listened and got something out of it, and I'm sure lots tuned out and got nothing, does it matter? I mean really?

Its a game, so what? If you get something out of running mindlessly like drones in TW, good for you. Having a strategy and going in prepared doesnt mean people with such actions take this game too seriously. As for fun? We could take the same "this is a game" approach you took with being prepared for TW and gearing up past npc gear. But sadly that goes against what most people seem to consider fun (winning) and thus playing smart should be, least in theory, more enjoyable experience. I did not discover wheel myself, somebody else did, which is great as I can take advantage of their work/knowledge w/o discovering it myself. Least I find said option far more appealing, I cant speak for you.

Dry TW knowledge doesn't mean jack, go cite any of the millions of guides if that's what you value. There are plenty of people that help their factions in more meaningful ways than a seminar on what a ****ing binding post does. Taxi is a great leader because she actually makes herself available to her faction as a friend, unlike the leaders on this server that are too pretentious to leave their private vent quarters in fear of looking less important. We can act all we want how nothing in the game affects us in reality but that would be false, we both know it. There is always something that will annoy/**** you off at some point. I want to see a single player who is completely unaffected during TW/NW these days, just doesnt exist, lol. Lol. We both know every single one of those guides is written by average player if that, period. I was on vent for one of marks "seminars" and it was quite a bit advanced past "use binding posts". Only negative thing I said of Taxi is halfassed attitude if and when she couldnt take advantage of Marks knowledge when offered. This assuming she speaks the truth of how she considers Marks impact irrelevant. I guess you havent talked bout the game with him in a while then? 99% of the people compare the outcomes with their experience/"imo", Mark will reference some math somewhere. The way he put it, a long time ago, was something along lines how he rather does math than makes a mistake, was regarding sharding I believe.
