Cant find file

I am attempting to update my game. It is game version 693. When it goes to update it states that a file is not found and will auto retry in 7 seconds or a button for me to stop the update. Anything I need to be aware of?
I am a NERD, I have Skilz for I am 1337

    You needed to read the part about fixing your anitivirus software on the Downloads page when you downloaded the game. It ate your files. Feel free to search this forum for more detailed information. God knows I've posted it enough.

    Ok let me rephrase. The updater cant find the file from the server. I dont think my anti virus is deleting files from a server that is not on my network.

    It will prevent them from downloading, which can have the same result. Alternatively, you can to the manual patch.

    The problem seems to have worked it self out. after leaving the updater go for several hours it finally updated. It may have just been my ISP going in and out during the update.
