    i think if every 2 servers were merge it would benefit the whole pwi community ... i mean we can merge the 2 pvp servers together nd the european servers together as well....
    i am kinda bored of fighting same ppl over and over again while we both upgrade our gears... all i c r the same faces at west that i have no fight all over again. I mean it ends up getting boring as hell!
    i would like 2 know if it's technically possible at least.

      I would LOVE HT to merge with another server. I think it would revitalize the in-game community, and honestly, there would be "server v server" competitions.

      Everyone would need to know who is who, and let's be honest, the world map PK would be different, it would be "server v server" I bet. Plus you have new WCers.

      Also, the biggest impact would probably be the markets, more catshops, more competition, and of course....more buyers.

      This has been discussed to death already. Even recently.

      Yes, there are a few servers that share the same name database and could possibly be merged. (Sanctuary, Archosaur, and Raging Tides are in one group I think.)

      Personally, it's not something you're likely to see.

      Why don't you use the forum search tool and go read the thread that was posted on this not long ago. It was discussed in depth, and I think V4liance may have even spoken up in it.

      Server merge implies more players, right?
      Having more players in the same zone means more lag at events which leads to the game becoming unplayable and a lot of frustration. Yeah, yeah, we should all get new computers and change our Internet providers because it's our problem and not the server/game engine that can't manage x bytes of information.

      Merging servers would be awful. Prices would go crazy and everything will either rise or drop, potentially wasting people's money and pushing players away from the game.

      More likely all non-nw related prices (including gold) would average.

      NW prices are heavily affected by server population. Those would all rise.

      It's not dead, it's just the same thing that happens every season:

      Infamous and Crimson +1 more dominate the map, everyone else gives up. On the PK front, Infamous doesn't bother while Crimson refuses to PK unless they have superior odds, and 90% of the server that isn't in one of the top 3 guilds supports Crimson, meaning they immediately get KoS'ed in anticipation of them helping them. And this year the +1 is Dark, which already focused on a more gank-style PK game. The result is nobody PKing or TWing for the last half of the season. Happens every single season without fail.

      posted on the french server, EU merge has been postponed til AFTER all the fixes from this last update are complete. Guess 3 more months or so.

      the non-existent EU support is probably busy with their other games (neverwinter-something) and this 3-lines-of-code "glitch" is a nice excuse.

      I wish they would merge the only 2 pvp servers we have. It would make things more interesting, but does anyone know if is it even technically possible to merge Lost City, and Harshlands?

      Doubt it, given they're hosted on two completely different servers.

      Of course it's POSSIBLE, but I sincerely doubt PWI would put in the extra effort to do it.

      well long at this rate i guess pwi will die in like 5months then they will probably close all of the servers
      their profits r already down by 75% since last year so :P

      It's Sanctuary, Archosaur and Heavens Tear that are in one group, the only other group is Lothranis and Momaganon. Lost City and all the East Coast servers (including Raging Tide) have independent name servers.

      But I only play on two servers, DW and RT, and I'd have to say that DW is far better than RT...At least for my tastes. >.>;

      In my time on RT, I found it to be about as bad as DW. Maybe it's gotten worse since then. Who knows.

      Fair enough, I've started to stray away from RT more so now. Just doesn't agree with me enough to log in on those toons anymore lol.
