Trading items from server to server

I recently started a new character on another server. I have items that I wouldn't mind that character to have, therefor I wondered if there was anyone that would like to trade items from one server to another, then I asked myself, is it even legal? Just wondering to myself b:surrender

    What he said. Guess you just have to ask yourself: "Are these items really worth transferring? Can you reobtain them later?" Imo, if you say yes they are worth transferring due to something like high cost...more risk it may be stolen...

    Well, i'd probably first trade some cheaper items with the person to see if they hold up their deal of the bargain, then i'd trade what I actually want for the second server (German server) from the first (Raging tide). Just hinting btw b:avoid

    Legal yes. Risky yes. Could be profitable? Very.

    I have done some trading server to server. Now I had luck to be honest. Guy who was trading stuff, came to OUR server, and asked if anyone wanted to trade things. I told him I would, and than I told him straight away: "Look I ain't hitting the trade button first. This is the deal:
    1. I play HL 3 years, trust me I stand by my word
    2. I showed him all my characters, some of them being r9 others r9rr, refines and shards very nicely added to gear - proves you are trustworthy
    3. I offered him to world chat and ask people about me, that was bit risky I guess, you always have "enemies" that would love to **** you over, however everything went smooth.

    We proceeded with trading that went on for several next months. Trick here is to act not interested IMO. I got much much better deal from these trades. Lets say I gave 300 million, and received 500million. He had no choice, he wasn't playing here and he wasn't going to risk getting stolen by some nablet.

    On our first few trades, I always took screenshots, just in case you never know what might happen. So if anything does happen, you could submit a ticket to PWi, and post on forums with at least a bit of evidence you have. If nothing else, for everyone reading forums, this guy would become cheating ***.
