Jolly Old Jones' Bounty Orders

I see a great potential for exploitation here. I did just one of these quests with my low level seeker and found that if I do them all I could potentially earn over half a million coins a day.

If I were to create multiple toons up to lvl 61, say 6 of them, I could potentially earn 3 million a day with little or no effort at all.

Inflation much?

    ...but it seems like u can only do one char/account/day. So you would need 6 accounts and as far as I remember there are only 2 accounts/user allowed except you had them before that rule appeared (but not sure here....and noone could really proove it so...ya)

    That's not really a ton. There are plenty of people who have multiple 100+ toons and do bh on them every day. Yes there are some days they get **** but I've seen them get 10m a day for a couple days in a row. At least this has the potential to give it to new people.

    Quest is per account not per character. It's not exploitable. Unless you have like a bajillion accounts with lvl 60+ (which is when u get decent money)

    Denial, that is what I see here. You all disagreeing without outright coming out and saying "No, it is not possible.", because you cannot say it isn't possible, because it is possible, you just don't want to see it.

    Right now there are people firing up their old accounts to make new toons to farm the Jolly Old Jones' bounty quests.

    And yes, if you had multiple accounts before the rule was made, you are legit. And many I know created theirs after and the rule is not enforced on them so yeah... Many others created multiple accounts in the beginning as well. I know when I find a new game the first thing I do is create a whole bunch of accounts. EVERYONE knows that more accounts means more free stuff for anniversaries and other events over the course of a game's lifespan. If you do not create multiple accounts on every game you play, you are actually behind the curve.

    lvl 21-80.Talk to npc again to claim a quest from those 7 bounty orders.Do it 7 times.Quests are random and specific to a Jolly Old Jones location (example: outside lost city there is a Machine next to npc to farm it) and there is possible to get more than 4 times in a row same quest ( example : killing those Noxious Mason mobs lvl 63-quest received from Jolly Old Jones 369 462 at Battlemark Village) . Iguess the quests pool it isn't so big ..yet :D

    "Added a new series of coin quests for players Lv21-80. These quests are available daily, and should offer a fun new way to earn coin for low to mid-level players!
    Head over to your local Jolly Old Jones and ask him about Daily Bounty Orders! (421 835 at Inn of the Eagle - outside Etherblade , 257 689 at the Northern Pass- outside City of the Lost , or 369 462 at Battlemark Village- outside Plume)"

    I think this has been created to compensate the nerfed DQ item prices 20-80 , which i doubt that is a bug.Anyway good job PWI making these Jolly Jones coin quests , really helpful, a big Thank you to whoever made them possible in game.

    Now be smart and fast dear players and do these Jolly Jones quests when you can so you can afford to buy/craft at least a TT gear piece so you won't fail BH runs due to low grade/lvl gear equipped and high damage taken :)

    btw i have asked many players/friends around and still they don't know/heard about this quest

    TLDR: Will this be an inflation? Probably.

    *read below only if you don't mind brick wall o text..*

    But, since everyone and their mother can do it, I dont see any fuzz there; sure, maybe because its easier to get coin, prices will go up in the future, but it will be on par with the amount Jolly gives (I hope).

    All high level can still do whatever dungeon raid they want to make money & slave their alts to get Jolly's coins, and other trivia things (Jolly$ + Trivia$ + Raid$).
    And the peeps who only has low to mid level chars can still make coins from Jolly too & their trivia (Jolly$ + Trivia$).

    It is no different than before, where high level do dungeon raid to get coins (Trivia$ + Raid$).
    And low to mid level do... I dont know what they can do to make money actually besides merchanting (which not everyone can do), farm herbs & mats, go to FB and hope for mold drop and someone wants to buy it, raid TT if there's anyone wants to go there anymore (Trivia$).

    Grinding for low and mid level was not a wise option because the income you get is far smaller than the outcome you need to pay for tele, pots & repairs, unless you get so lucky and got npc gear drops from mob like crazy, or has a high level char to support you or the legendary gear mastercard.
    Even before the DQs were nerfed to 1 coin, melee classes esp Barbs (saw them to be the most complainers) about how hard it is to level by grinding because of repair cost, unless it's 2x drops, there's almost not profitable to do it.

    And seeing the Dev's step on PW.. I'll also shoot a wild speculation that it will be a matter of time before they make DQ81 & DQ91 & DQ101 becomes 1 Coin worth to NPC too..
    So I dont think this is somewhat bad.

    I even think when as soon any char hit level 21, a pop-up message should appear telling them to meet Jolly to do these quest, its one of the thing I can think of to keep new players to stay. A few friends of mine gave up after they hit 30-40 because they simply couldn't afford gear, pot, repair & skills due to low of coins. I've tried to make them return by telling them about this update but it's already too late for them to see the potential of PW.
    Do you know how hard and made you looks like this when your friends all sit around you and gave you the look of "...do you really wants me to play this game where I only get 1 coin from selling drops?" T__T

    Yes, there is a trick to overcome that, like making Apoth for HP/MP regen or farm Mats and sell them. But it shouldn't be so hard to fulfill the basic needs of repairs & buy a decent amount of npc pots just to be able to grind.

    How many minutes/hours needed to gather the total of 25 herbs to make 5 Apoth that only last for 10 minutes each? And how many exp or coins you get from that grinding time of 50 minutes in total, minus the expenses of repairs and or maybe tele?
    Then they were faced to do herb farming 25 herbs again to be able to grind?

    If I were a new player, I'd say goodbye too.

    I would gladly see those new Jolly quests vanish if only, and only, the price of all DQs back to the original, yes, the original price before they cut the 20% of it.

    The rule as stated when you start the game is you cannot have more than 2 accounts online at the same time, not 2 accounts in general.

    An additional problem is if you are level 41, you are able to get the quest, so why the heck would we have to repeatedly kill mobs level 47???!!! Plus NO EXP!!! PWI is just slowing things down...now we are able to earn coin at a medium player level, but what about those who like to solo at high levels, AND what ever happened to the idea of earning coin and exp at the SAME time?!!! IJS!!!!!!!!!! TELL PWI TO FIX DQ AND DROPS!!!!! This new quest, I will take it or leave itb:cryb:angryb:surrender

    ...

    SOME people are ready to farm endlessly to get few coins more,
    but the drop rates of mats from mobs are way too low.

    Example is Step 2, Step 3, Step 4 quests for production skills.

    To do only Step 2 for Blacksmith, Tailor and Craftsman
    took me the whole February and half of March farming.

    Yes, they sell mats in Cash Shop, but:

    first, all prices in Cash Shop are 10-15 times higher than decent,
    not every kid will want to rob his dad's hard earned dollars,

    second, these low drop rates are too obvious blackmail to make you
    hate farming and start thinking of spending more and more just
    to be able to finish "simple tasks in stupid game".

    I'm sure your friends saw that and don't want to become
    victims of PWI's greedy management.

    ~~~~~
    I DID finish farming for Step2, and WILL finish farming
    for Step 3 and Step 4 for my Blacksmith, Tailor and Craftsman.
    And I will never forgive them that unnecessary 10 times longer
    time waste they deliberately created.
    I wish them no more than to feel every day the way I (we) feel,
    and to know why they feel like that.
    Karma is a bitsch.
