AMP'D/DEBUFFED/PURGED in AD/IG/FERAL

I can`t understand why many people think this is a bug?

AD to save from purge... this is bug!
Lets see what is the description of the AD : "Makes you immune to all damage for 5.0 seconds and immune to immobilization for 2 seconds afterwards"

Do the purge/amp do damage? Why then AD to save from purge?

    Description is off. It immunes everything.

    And anyway, that only happens in ****ing duels. Holy ****, stop making a big ****ing deal out of it and spreading the damn thing like it works in actual pvp or something.

    Things that work on duels tend to work on TWs and NW also. You sure this doesnt work there?

    Pretty sure a convo between like Adroit and Asterelle somewhere in the Undocumented Changes thread pretty much confirmed that this has been happening in duels for well over a year now and is nothing new.

    Immune doesn't work the same in duels as it does everywhere else. In duels, immune is only immune to damage, non-damage skills can still stun/seal/sleep etc, but immune resists everything everywhere else (not in duels).. It has been like this as far back as I can remember (at least 2009)

    Interesting, only times I duel is damage tests and really wouldnt know of immunities working differently :). Guess you always learn something new, thanks :).

    It's good to know that now, as not many people knew that at all, because usually players just jump into PvP (such as TW/Tourney/Dragon Temple/etc), and learn the functionalities of normal PvP (non-damage debuffs like roar/purge not working when target has immunity), and with that knowledge they know not to use such skills when the target is in immunity, even in a duel.

    Though I do wonder why it was largely found out now than before.

    ...why would you even be using apothecary/immune in duels, anyway, that's like a total *** move. x3 If you want to go all out just PvP geez.

    I think it's something that was noted in the patch notes/some sort of on-site note relevant to this patch o-o?
