Make FC a Bounty Hunter

FC is hands down my most favorite instance. It's the finest instance in the game.
No longer hyperable and being sold -- no problem. No one playing the best part of the game? HUGE problem.
But please please give people a reason to do FC: Bounty Hunter!
Specifically,
1) BH1- the Boss in the heads and mobs room.
2) Increase the xp of heads a tad as more of a reward for the hour run to get that far (otherwise people might ignore heads and that's no fun.) Also, you have to make up for XP loss dying at times to get that far. FC is tough. People die on a regular basis. Entire squads are wiped by hands and the suicidal mini boss, never mind the frequent deaths from the super whirly slash guy and the 1st boss and his circles of doom. Even with cleric rezzes at lvl10 your xp can drop a lot. Not to mention that of the poor clerics. Can't have player's experience tending to go backwards from an instance or people will still ignore it. Put a level restriction on it so people don't exploit heads with lvl 40 toons though. It's a tough instance, and that's what makes it good. But the xp earned has to factor in some deaths.
3) BH2- The Boss at the end of FC (FC doesn't end at heads and mobs room!!)
and finally, (I'm sure some people will hate me for saying this) fix the bubble boss so you can't glitch him!!

Totally Approved by me. BH 3 - Holeen Champion of Fientazzar or whatever Btw they should make an Exp Mode and a Farming mode (to farm gear as it was planned to be No epic exp on this one)0

Yes to new BH bosses almost anywhere really. The current selection are becoming extremely stale.0

Not sure is the changes to FC are permanent. I would love some different bounty hunter quests and FC is fun!0

So I'm not sure whether this is being suggested as a 100+ bh or 80-89/90-99 one. Either way I see problems here.
A 100+ squad, even with mediocre gear, can absolutely wreck this instance. It's intended for people in the 70-90 range, maybe up to 100 but that's still pushing it. Yes I know it's easy to wreck any instance with an appropriately geared squad, but not anywhere near the extent that this is.
For an 80-89 or 90-99 squad, bh is about exp. If the instance returns to being an exp instance, it is superfluous to add an exp bonus to it since people are already getting a ton off of it. If it does not return to being an exp instance, it would be disproportionately harder than the other instances in that range, especially since the others can be wined for like 40k a piece and FCC can't, and you'd need to kill like 5 bosses, several of whom are harder than the bosses in 69/79/89 to get to the boss you suggest as a bh reward boss. Also, it would make more sense NOT to have the reward boss be in the exp room, since people just buy that anyway. At the very least make it Holeen and/or whichever the one with the claw is (I forget the name) so that people need to do bosses after the exp room and the bosses they make other people do beforehand.
As for your assertion that people die too much for it to be worth it, so you need even more exp from it, on my cleric at level 80-ish (assuming hypers work) I would get almost a half level from an fcc assuming I hypered the north hall and exp room. That means I would need to die 25 times, without a res, res buff, or guardian scroll, for that to compensate for the exp gained. Assuming similar exp gain for the others in squad, they would need to die 250 times. If your squad sucks that bad, you probably should all learn your class more before you continue leveling.xSonOfCircex-105/103/102 Sage Wiz

The hyper thing was a mistake that's already been fixed and FC is too easy for a bh 100+. Maybe for lvl 80-90 it could be ok as a bh, but I doubt that'll ever happen. I do like the idea of a new bh for 100+ though, like bh nirvana b:victory0

No, it's not intended for high levels. And it being a BH would be awful - as they are intended to take time and effort, rather than taking a couple of seconds (And I'm sure a full R999/R9r2 squad would absolutely destroy this in no time).[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

At the time of this suggestion, hypers in FC were disabled. Again, this post was originally made at a time where hypers in FC were disabled and I thought it might have been intentional and suggested the instance be salvaged by making it a BH. So assuming no hypers, how many times would you cleric have to die to cancel out the base FC exp? Twice? In that scenario, would you do a 1 hour+ FC run with a squad? I mean, die 3 times and you end up losing a bunch of exp for your trouble.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

agree 100%, rarely seen people go to holeen nowadays, its like theres no point to go there unless you have lots of faiths and sincs b:laughb:laugh
so yea make FC as a BH instance as well!!
or if they wont make it this way, bring back FC's mats!!0
