So... venos got an update to become stronger and barbs just for a *** look? You even can't use more (human form) skills in panda form. Fail update for barbs, I'm disappointed. Biggest joke ofc is the nether essence which costs 29 gold. You can do a quest chain instead which takes ~3-4h do complete (for last boss you will need help from mag attackers, boss has a high physical defence). But it's really not worth to do.

    Were the buffs implemented this update? Like the +40 def lvl buff for Panda Form and the anti stun recovery one for Butterfly Fox Form or w/e its called?

    Demon Panda Form
    Transformed into a Panda, increases Max HP by 30% and movement speed by 80%.
    shares cooldown with tiger form
    demon version increases critical hit by 5% for 6 seconds.

    Sage Panda Form
    Transformed into a Panda, increases Max HP by 40% and movement speed by 90%.
    shares cooldown with tiger form
    earn 20 Chi Sage version.

    People told me all they get at demon was just 5% increases critical hit, no movement speed and no HP..b:shocked
    But I don't think you pay 29 gold for 5% crit.

    You don't have to pay 29 Gold, you can just spend a few hours doing the quests.

    Yes, I said quests. Some people actually do them instead of CS/Hyper.

    Can't see any def lvl buff, we got just 2 books, 1 book updates true form, the other gives you panda form. Update costs 1m btw, panda form 5m coins.

    It's because of people like you that the game is becoming a wasteland.

    If we don't want the game to die, someone needs to be out there doing quests and making it look less like a desolate wasteland for new players.

    Nothing changed, panda form has same stats like tiger form.

    Hey dude chill...I never buy boutique items before so dont worry about me but people with real money and jobs if they can afford why not just buy it? People with money keep this game alive not farmers like us and I was not talking about farming i was asking about skills in panda form so you need to calm down lol

    Anybody completed the veno quest chain? I had to stop after getting the quest for Withered Revenants in SoT due to real world responsibilities.

    Just curious, do you have to have the shapeshifting intensity or true form skill book for the barb to start the chain, or equip the new books? I have both, i was just curious. Also, if they adding new skills. they should have extended the skill bar that we use to hold all the skills at least one more lvl. I don't like using the second skill bar, its not the same size and those sides on it stick out and you can't place it close to your other skill bar with out the sides overlapping. Either way I don't care but I think this is awesome. TY PWI, im looking forward to starting the quest chain.

    sry ive no idea about veno quest line.
    Just wanted to show you that you don't get any benefit in pvp or pve while beeing in panda form, it's exactly the same like beeing in tiger form.

    your have no idea what your talking about.... yet again. if no one puts money into this game it will die. They need to find ways to force u to spend. i.e turning off hypers in fcc, etc.

    forcing people to quest wont make a damn bit of diff. turning off hypers wont matter. most everyone has 105's. new players will never see 105 now. (not that there is many new players lol thats the best part about all this lol) i will jsut wait and see what happens. b:chuckle

    SylenThunder is actually one of the few remaining remnants of people from the old days that still post frequently on the PWI forums. He knows what he's talking about.

    Not everyone has a level 105. Get back to reality, please.

    Actually, he has a lot more idea of what he's talking about than you. You don't seem to have a clue.

    If you're a new player joining this game, and your first 80 levels are wandering through deserted wasteland with no player interaction at all, spamming "looking for bh" for hours at head hunter with no luck, barely even managing to find players for your fb.... are you going to splash a ton of money into it? I know I wouldn't. There's nothing like an apparently dead game to turn people off. Even at high levels most of us just log on weekends for tw/nw now. Every week I see more and more uncharmed players in nw, including myself, and come across more players with the same gear they had a year ago.

    If they want the majority to put in money, they have to give us something worth putting money into. Then we'd all spam r9 and packs quite happily.

    either pay 29 gold or do a 4 hour long quest chain to get ... what?
    oTrue Form intensified (same stats as demon true form) and lowers the chance of receiving crit hits by 5% for a few seconds.
    oPanda Form (same stats as demon true form) and lowers the chance of receiving crit hits by 5% for a few seconds, also getting the stupid look of a sleezy panda with lots of trinkets.
    The joke's on us then.

    You can use exactly the same skills like in tiger form. It's just another look. Lions and wolves can choose to be either a tiger or a panda now.

    At first I had thought there was absolutely nothing but aesthetic changes that I was spending 2+ hours and 6 mil coins to acquire, however, on closer inspection it does seem there is at least one sage benefit, not sure if it was intentional or just overlooked but Sage barbs no longer suffer the 50% less weapon damage, thingy, I.E. same damage in or out of true form now, like that of demons.
