    I tend to poke with Drake's Ray from a range, to get some damage in before I start my lock. I used Drake Sweep, Fan of Flames, and Fissure quite heavily, along with my stuns of course.

    Yay! You can update it again for Cleric and Sin soon, the next vid I put out will have 1v1s with both along with a few other things!

    I felt you would have performed a lot better with a STR genie in the 1v1; they didn't seem to have fortify on their genie so Occult Ice + Mire would have probably ended them pretty quickly. Venoes don't really have any long stuns so badge / fortify weren't really needed. Their best lock up would have been Nova which I saw you dodge with tiger leap, good one there.

    Other than that it wasn't bad, though there were a few small things you could improve on such as being more aggressive with the sprints and kept in melee range or mo zun when not in melee range more often (they were able to rez their pet a few times) and switching blessing if needed to stay in melee range. You could have also used smack more sparingly to interrupt purge / bewitch rather than to loop a stun with whirlwind and burn chi when you were already too low on chi to follow up with bash. When I'm low on chi in fights I will just roar spam and build chi on them while you can lure out their expel / fortify / badge and then when it's on CD you can close in on them Occult Ice and chain with a drake bash + tangling mire / EP lock and kill them in one lock.

    Did you arrange a no apoth 1v1 btw? Found it odd you didn't use any white teas as you got chi drained and kited pretty hard in the fight.

    I tend not to use things that'll give me too much of an advantage against people with worse gear, they were full R9R3 minus wep, but the wep was only +4 and the gear was mostly +5/6 with +10 boots and +3 hat/cape. +10 axes can tear through that well enough.

    Also, I no longer have a Str genie, the one I currently used was re-statted to dex, so I'm stuck with it which means no occult or Mire. I could have used my PvE genie which has str, but I've been trying to practice with my dex genie so as to get better with the DPH approach. I know I was pretty sloppy in this fight, I noticed while it was happening (such as being late on Whirlwind, not using MP pots at the right time, and other minor slip ups). I may re-purpose my PvE genie to a 1v1 genie seeing as I don't farm too much anymore, also all the small slip ups should be gone on the next video I put up. I think I did quite well in it, especially considering my 4 month break and only recently getting back into pking. Been re-teaching myself a lot of things and watching my videos helps me see my mistakes and learn from them.
