Sin: 5 APS Trip spark HUUURRRRDURRRRRRRRR

    Aside from that?
Archer is pretty much point and click, veno is surprisingly simple given that they need little chi management, in my experience...

This comment just proved that all classes are actually easy to play, but it's up to every player's skill how good a character can be (and their gear ofc).

And it also proves that unless we play a certain class as a main, we can't say how hard or easy is to use it. And then of course anyone with a lot of experience with their mains will say that their class is not easy.

For example, venos use a lot of chi, and is not easy to get it back. Without including spark skills, there are many skills that take a lot of chi. Bramble Hood, Parasitic Nova, and Soul Shatter use 2 sparks. Feral concentration, and natural synergy use 1 spark. Bewitch uses 50 chi, and both myriads, ironwood scarab and chi burn use 25 chi. Apparently with the coming update a new skill that uses one spark will be added. So, venos have to think carefully what they are doing. Will you use 2 sparks to nova a group of people, bramble hood to tank them, or use feral concentration + natural synergy. So much chi usage, and only 2 skills to recover it: li's technique (for sage venos), crush vigor (for demon venos), and lending hand.

Lending hand's a **** shoot (20 or 25% chance per use to gain an extra spark, with 15 second cooldown), and there are many, many other ways to gain chi during combat (Lucky, Blazing, Venomous (especially sage, with a chance of getting 20 chi per use), Noxious, Befuddling, Leech, Consume Spirit and autoattack) though not as quickly per skill. Plus there's always pet heal and bramble guard between fights.

This is a really relative-based question. What's easy to someone may be hard to another. I find that sins tend to be the easiest class to play, from my perspective. Constant chi/sparks, stealth, high & fast melee damage w/ high crits, etc.

On the flip side, sins do have a downside. They are pretty weak against other classes in PvP, unless they can stun their opponent and get first hit. I've seen pretty decently geared sins get one shot all the time in NW, so yeah.

The hardest class to play, is again relative. In my experience, most Barb's are clueless on how to play a Barb the right way (debuffs, gear, tanking, stats, etc). I also know that for me, playing a Psy or Mystic is pretty challenging. It's not my usual type of play style, even though I have experience with a Cleric/Wizzy and a lot of melee classes. That support role (mystic), is something I've always had challenges with. The Psy has so many defensive skills, and debuffs that I'm always like "lolwut?".

So, ultimately the challenge of the class is pretty much based on what you experience. I'd suggest trying each one out, and leveling each one to 10-20. By this time, you should have an idea of all play styles, and which one suits you better. It also gives you a sense of which one may be more challenging or easier for you.

Yes I agree that there is two ways to think of classes. The actually raise it and to master it.

It's important to consider the progression and how hard it is to get from the start to end. If you want to make a more brief decision you may consider these factors:

    Progression From 1-100.
    Endgame
    PVP
    PVE
Cost of the Class (This can be a obstacle for many)
Fluidity of the Class (How well this class flow, are there gaps in their abilities?)
Opportunities of the Class (How quick can this class get a squad?)

May be 20% change for for lending hand, but it's totally worth to try, and in many situations I recover chi faster using this skilll that spamming skills that give 5 or 10 chi, specially in pvp.

And, when I'm talking about chi gaining skills, I talk about skills that give you a significant amount of chi (50 or more) in a few seconds. Think about inner harmony (sin skill), you press that skill and voila, you have 2 more sparks.

So far, all the classes I have played (archer and veno never played) are easy in PvE. Barbs especially with high HP, able to tank anything so far, though time to kill can take a while.

My BM, like a Barb is easy to play, solo or in squads, except I hate running mobs.

The class that has been challenging at times is psychic. Against a melee mob, it can be harrowing, and occasionally, unsuccessful. Their skill descriptions, and uses take some getting used to, but used right, and with decent gear, can do massive damage quickly, or keep you alive.

I find sins easy, but boring to play. Wizards also tend to be boring.

As for PvP, I don't know as I've never been interested in PvP.

If you don't like my attitude, you should realize I don't care.

Any class is easy to play. the thing is to be good at them, and again you can't pick one. Each personality will have one class they learn faster than the rest.
