Do not. New players are still not attract, but most of the old run to other projects.

Or you could just go play FW where they have said classes. Don't make PW into something it's not please.

Too late, our AFK leveling system came from FW!

EDIT: And in reply to the actual question. No new classes. Only so many classes you can make before they all start looking the same and having the same skills. And no it would not attract new players. Like said before, the only people playing them would be people's alts that they just powerlevel.

It's quite comical that you say to not make PW into something it's not, when almost everything since the TB expansion and on has been westernized and/or doesn't follow either the game lore or have anything to do with Chinese culture/mythology.

The original lore of the game doesn't include EG classes. Though, there was a very brief sentence on the TB class coming into existence from one of the quests. A few new classes that are already in other games, doesn't really affect the game unless they are unbalanced. Sure, most of the classes are already in FW, but really - almost all MMOs share class types. Take a look at the top 10 competing MMOs, and most games have the same type of classes. Some are named the same, while others are named different but are the same in skills/usage.

Thankfully, it's not up to you. If no new classes were ever created from here out, the game would be stagnant after some time. Sure, this is a one-sided view of someone who has ever character 100+ minus an Archer. However, if the code permitted such an amazing feat, I would play the new classes.

Again, it's not up to you nor I. It's up to Wanmei's developers and whether or not they would like to proceed with such an update.

Ok then what kind of classes do you think would actually be interesting too see in PW? I personally think we have just about every kind of class you can find and then some that spill into several. Like the suggestions above for Marksman? Ours are called Archers. Warlock? Could be our Wizard or Psychic. Vampire? ...I don't see how that could even remotely be put into PWI regardless of what you want to call it (hardy harr harr BP makes melees vamps xD j/k). Bard, could possibly be interesting, but I wouldn't see it coming to PW. Despite them not anywhere close to being related, I could imagine maybe Mystic for that. (at least in terms of FW's Bard) Having to know what skills to use when in order to best benefit the party for the circumstance, has very nice squad aiding buffs that can increase DD capabilities as well as healing and defense. Can heal and also have beast DD etc. If PW could somehow change it from FW's into it's own somehow, then maybe.

And I didn't say it was up to me or anyone else, it is my opinion that there isn't really anything that can be put into the game. 10 classes is a pretty damn large selection to pick from as it is if you ask me. And some have already been given the same aspects as other classes. So once again, in my opinion, adding more classes that possibly will have the same skills as others seems redundant and moot to me. If it happens it happens.

    No thanks.

I'd far rather see the developers spending time on the actual game itself. New instances that are worth running, a completely fresh set of BH's, Vana and delta made worthwhile, low level fcc'ing eliminated, a full rehaul on all lv80-105 quests, bugs fixed, current classes updated and a whole bunch of other things that would make the game fun. Nowadays players just log on at weekends for nw and tw, and even nw is becoming less popular.

If we got new classes, players would fcc them on mains, hit 100, find there's nothing new to do with their new class in game at all, and we'd be back to square one within a few weeks.

I dont think there will be any new classes as the current classes pretty much exploit every role possible (and even steal other classes' roles nowadays).
But if I read it right, then the new big expansion (NOT the content update patch for barbs/venos) - will have new areas in the current pwi map to explore.
PWI's major expansions usually happen anywhere between August of ongoing year to February of next year. So...keep waiting.
