Forum signature query

So I finally realized I could, say, make a signature.

Now, I want to know if there is any way I can add my signature to certain old threads of interest. Example, I have a cleric pv guide, and a cleric pk video thread, that I'd really like to add my signature to. Except, when I edit those posts, my signature doesn't get tacked onto bottom.

Is there some way I can do this myself, or do I have to ask a mod or gm for help?

Thanks for info.

If you mean the 'five line max' signature that's adjusted in the control panel, all signatures should automatically change to your current one regardless o-o For example, a post I made on 17/8/2012 has my current signature, which was not the same at the time.

As for manual signatures that are typed out at the bottom of a post, no there isn't a bulk post editor for that at least that's available to the general public, sorry >:
If there was, I would go and fix my font colour of all my posts to be green OTL except for the multi-coloured ones...

Right... so I click the User CP link (that stands for control panel I take it) and that is where I created my signature. And it doesn't appear to be retroactive. Where, then, precisely, do I go to make the signature in 'cp' if not there?

You mean your youtube, cleric guide etc. links? That's your regular automatic signature which you set up in CP. Every new thread or post you make should have the "Show your signature" box checked, and there should never be two versions of your sig at once. If it isn't appearing at all, edit the post and make sure that box is checked.

Signatures are generally retroactive, however only from the moment on you got yourself one. From joining to the point where you first changed it seems to be considered a different time span. b:surrender

both of these for example this http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showpost.php?p=11474582&postcount=4 had signature for years now but as you can see in one of my oldest posts ever, there isn't anything there. :3 So you'll have to make those changes manually by editting/showing signature.

Ahhh, that would be our wonderfully fail PWE web system at work. I swear, these web pages have almost as many bugs in the code as the client, and half of the problem is because they insist on not using UTF-8.

So is that why some of my characters have a blank avatar, or an avatar of the wrong class, or why the avatar selection page sometimes shows test chars that don't exist anymore? :P Hooray for bugs...

Of course the client isn't much better with character selection. My fiance has a character slot in which she deleted the char that was originally there, remade that char on a second account and made a new one in its old spot. I had the old char friended, and now whenever the new one comes online I see a message saying the old one is online. And I can even whisper to the old char and the new one gets it. XD

    Oh, wanmei. -_-
