    Being brambled would make it easier to keep them from resetting, otherwise you have to AOE them periodically (rather than just run through the crowd and letting them hit you)

    I tried this while brambled and periodically dropping hailstorm in the crowd of enemies behind me and occasionally getting stunned long enough for bramble to reflect back damage to some of the mobs. When I got to the boss at the end about 1/4 of the mobs were already dead from the repeated AoEs and almost everything else had reset.

    I would say around 60% of the mobs were still there after I killed whatever followed me to the boss.
