Computer Decision for PWI!!!

So i was wonder what kind of computer i should get that is around 300-400 dollars that can handle PWI RPG game...... yall gots any suggestions to help me out asap???

    I play on an old Core 2 Quad 2.4GHz with an 8800GT 512MB and the game is quite enjoyable. As long as your system was built in the past 5 years and has a decent video card, the game will play fine.

    You could also poke around where other people have asked and gotten answers too.
    Here's a recent example.

    Well you have to decide if PWI is really the only thing that matters to you when you buy this PC. (you build it from components or have a friend do that?)

    If so, you only care about processor and graphics card (and memory, but that costs nothing nowadays) You could put it in a second hand noisy box you get for free, you could use a second hand 80GB harddrive.

    However if PWI is not really the only thing you care about, you have to decide how much you want to spend on the parts that dont matter for PWI. Bigger harddrive, Solid state maybe ? Do you like quality power supplies that are low noise and last a lifetime or something cheap and noisy ?

    After deciding what part of the budget will be for processor and videocard, the rest of the choise wont be too hard. A certain budget buys you a certain amount of power. Doesnt really matter much what name it has. You pretty much get what you pay for and its very similar if the price is similar.


    But as posted above, anything from the last 5 years will probably do. I have build my PC 2 years ago or so with an interl 2500k and i can dual client easilly and meanwhile run other applications no problem.
