I did try Absorbing array killing a few mobs and I did get healed from using it and its aoe version idk if it matters now or not but just thought I'd say something since from what I've read no one seems to think u get heals from it, you do ... haven't tried it in pvp though...
SxeChik is right, no one seems to think you get heals from it but you do..I think 8% each successful cast..I've used it in pve and I have noticed it heal me...but it also does the other stuff the others have mentioned... haven't tried it in pvp though... but it is a way to heal yourself in VD...

If you fight against a cleric, and she heals herself (assume that she's under the effect of either of the two arrays), the amount of HP which should have gone to her would go to you as well. b:pleased

That's strange. I don't remember those skills as healing you at all. Yet ecatomb lists them as heals. A recent change maybe?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

It could be possible...maybe they intended the skill to heal and just recently getting around to patching it up.0

But yes. The array healing debuffs do give hp back now. The amount of hp you get back is based on soulforce (armor/weapon refines). The amount of healing that get debuffs is a portion of your magic attack. (Triple sparking will make the healing debuffs stronger, but won't increase the amount of hp you recover, capiche? )YOUTUBE CHANNEL:

How about I just give this its own topic, remove stuff about necros, and call it a day?

Description of Absorbing Array:
Recovers Health equal to 8% of your Soulforce after casting successfully.
Description of Aurora Array:
Recovers Health equal to 15% of your Soulforce after casting successfully.
This nice little effect has been added since the Sirens of War expansion. I use them pretty often, the healing effect does work :PWorld is full of illusions.

Successful casting isn't a requirement from what I've had happen. Occasionally I would try to use it near the end for a free heal up, but the damage spell I'd cast before it would crit. In which case my target would die, but I'd start casting the spell. Since the target is already dead, it would fail. But I would still get the healing from the spell. Not sure if there is some benefit towards cancel casting, but it's something I might try later on when I swap to cleric for NWs.0

That is interesting. I'm going to test that one. b:victory0 -

Cancel-channeling doesn't heal; the heal doesn't occur until after the channeling has occurred. What happened in your case was server lag not showing that the person was dead (and thus something you can no longer target), and that the arrays have fast channeling; the aoe version is only 0.6s channeling.YOUTUBE CHANNEL:
