Black Screening

Ok, I haven't posted here before, but I'm some technical difficulties with my lap top.

On my laptop I can open the client, get past the log in screen usually. However when it starts to log in so that I can view my toons, that is where it black screens.b:cry

After experiencing this glitch, I have reset my laptop to factory settings, and updated the video drivers. I installed a brand new copy of PWI on my laptop, and it is currently up to date.

I would love suggestions on how to fix this problem! If you need any information about my laptop, within reason, I would be happy to provide it.

    might be a direct x 9 issue missing some dll's

    do you get error message or does it just crash and could you post dxdiag info
    start->run->dxdiag->save all information then past into here inside tags

    This is a problem with some Nvidia video cards running driver versions 310.7 and 310.9 that causes black screens with the client. The solution in that case would be to go back to 306.97.

    Unfortunately, you didn't bother to post actual information, so all any of us can do is guess.
