Just something that has bothered me a bit in this game. There is no slider for the height of your character!

Everyone is nearly the same height and it kind of makes everyone look like the same drones running around, whereas if there were height differences, the crowds of people in market areas would look natural and interesting.

So what do you think? Should a height slider be put into the game? Or will it ruin the experience for you? (Who knows, it might just be an issue with where spells connect with players in PvP or PvE)

    Please no. It would create a catastrophe. I think the height difference in males and females are just very fine.

    I voted yes, within a sensible range it would work well. I would also like to see an age slider.

    could create an older-looking char, like those wise old elder npc's.

    And yes again to the height. As Merc said, within a sensible range, it would
    work, and add so much more variety to char creation.

    (And I still haven't figured out why customization is so much more
    limited on the Tide and EB races.)

    I voted no, PWI already has THE most in-depth character customization of any other MMORPG out there. I personally don't see how height would even matter, I don't tend to go looking at other characters' height.

    It needs to be a gear stat. R999 should make you 30% taller than everyone else.

    Jokes aside, I'd very much like a height slider. I'm 6'4 IRL ( and a woman ) and I'm kind of missing being able to look at the top of men's heads. :P

    Next race should be both extremes. Lanky and ghoulish casters + small and rolypoly axe men.

    I remember back at the beginning there was a height slider. Seems like it was around the Genie expansion that they took it out of customization.

    Not quite the same, but you can still auto attack if you use the telepath charm to turn into a turtle. That's one way to shrink your height a lot, and even whack stuff in PvP. b:chuckle

    Yeah an age slider would be good too. I tried to make my toon an old wise man, yet he has a baby face! Very good point there

    SO true. I was working hard to make a wizard look like Dresden and it ends up looking like Dresden might have at age 16.

    I started a couple months before Age of Spirits, and don't remember there ever having been a height slider in this game.

    Never really paid attention to the height of a character. Same as ini editing, I don't look that close to eyes or hair. Only thing I notice is ini editing that is against the ToS, like really moronic looking characters that are beanpoles or eggplants.

    Within reason a height slider would be useful. Example: no shorter than 5 feet no taller than 7.

    Reason we don't want super short characters is cuz they are ridiculously hard to target in PVP.
