I tried to find forum threads about this, but didn't find any

So the thing is, already kinda 2 weeks have huge lag, sometimes goes up to 10k ms (never had that before)
Dc up to 20 times a day, 8 times in a row (long in, dc, long in, dc..)

how come any other game or other stuff which use net works perfectly fine
I'm surprised about this, because i could play pwi without any problems.(high settings on) And when i heard some1 telling about huge lag and stuff and when they cant do anything in WS, SoT, Abba and so on...i was thinking they bunch of whiners or that they lie

now i understand them b:surrender
i cant do anything normally without dc 20 times or without having huge lag (even with lowest settings on)

any1 else having such a huge lag? or so many dcs a day?b:surrender

is there a way how to like...fix it..? do i need reinstall pwi? since other games and stuff works fine, i don't think its my laptop fault o.o

P.S sorry about my eng, and if there is thread about this already i would like have link of it D: maybe i can find solution there

One day I may get tired of spamming this, but until then.... b:chuckle
People are starting to hate me for posting this over and over, but damnit, there's just nothing better to say until I have more information and it's partially educational as well.....

Common reasons that you can't connect to the servers, experience disconnects, or just have lag in general...

    1. You don't have the three .exe files for the client set to run as administrator.
    2. You don't have the game directory set as an exception in your security softwares.
    3. Your network adapter driver is out of date and needs to be refreshed.
    4. Your local area network settings are improperly configured.
    5. You have more than one firewall and don't realize it.
    6. Your firewall settings are too strict. (Very common with ZoneAlarm and Commodo firewall.)
    7. Your router is configured improperly.
    8. you have a bad network cable.
    9. You're using a wireless network connection. (Which leads to another huge list.)
    10. You have a lot of traffic on your local network that is bogging your router/modem down.
    11. There's a fault in your router.
    12. There's a fault in your modem.
13, You have a bad phone cord plugged into your modem.
    14. There's an issue with your house wiring.
    15. There's an issue with your outside wiring.
    16. A squirrel chewed on your phone line at the pole and it's raining. (I've had this happen personally.)
    17. A switch/router at the CO for your ISP is having an issue.
    18. One of the many hubs between you and PWI is having an issue. (most common)
    19. There is heavy sunspot activity. (has happened within the past two years)
    20. There's a regional router outage. (Has happened several times, most recently just a couple of months ago.)

That's just a few. The more details you give, the better I can narrow it down and tell you what the issue is.

Also, post a copy of a traceroute to the server.
Take the time to look for your answer before you post like an idiot.

    thank you b:cute

It can be the router but, not everything is the router or the modem for the connection issues, sometimes its actually the server's that normally cause it due to either TW or NW, normally when NW starts a large spike lag happens, and most likely causes a large spike to the peak point of dcing people off, however most people do not bother to check the issue with their servers, which is why its most likely some people would of caught t he coding for this issue as to why it keeps on dcing, however....experienced engineers for fixing these types of things are well paid for that they know what they are doing to fix such a thing that seems to happen to either this game or some other games as well, but in the conclusion the people who claim they fix the game and claim the there is not much lagging issues, never really bother to noticed that the coding on the game for rubber banding, lag to dc's, to sudden log offs, are normally the types of errors within trial runs, which means...the people who suppose to fix this aren't experienced at all for this type of thing, and didn't even bother to read the text book of engineering these types of things, which we call them " Unexperienced " and never had any training on these things.

If that of what I said confuses you then let me put it in a more clear and simple manner that is making sense " You need more training to fix trial and error coding for spike lag issues, to make patches manually for people to download it into the computer to the folder to massively lessen that issue, only every tuesday weekly fix and polish ( No more Wensdays or Mondays which is also the reason why the game is spike lagged. ), have the consideration of learning instead of throwing paper onto the air letting it drop to figure out which one to put in which will cause the game to be unbalanced, that simple.

On a note side, I know people may not like what I said but frankly I really do not have time to deal with child non-sense to be trolled if that is how you call it, considering its not for this game, suggest to do that, go on Facebook or on Yahoo to do that trolling, last and least I am being absolutely polite and honest of what I said.

    Hey everyone,

We're aware of the issues regarding mass disconnections during NW, as well as players being unable to participate during NW.

At this point, we believe we've determined that the problem is related to our server hardware in our East Coast datacenter, and we are in the process of upgrading that hardware.

I am so sorry for these interruptions; I know how important Nation Wars is each week, and the engineers and PWI Team are working as fast as possible to fix this.

I will keep you posted as I learn more.

UPDATE: This fix will be pushed out with our next content update, so unfortunately, it will be a little while before it goes live.

    b:laughpwi problem

That is only specific to, and limited to NW. It's the same bug that we have had when entering Delta for a long time. It's just immediately more noticeable because its happening to hundreds of people at a time instead of just 2 or 3.

In any case, that also has absolutely nothing to do with the OP's post.
